Name: Jennifer Steinem
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 30
Profession: Ex-Enclave, scientist, Do-Gooder
Appearance: Jennifer has long black hair, and wears a lab coat and black pants. Her eyes are hazel.
Height: 5' 11''
Weight: 190lbs
Equipment: Plasma Rifle
Personality: Jennifer has a very serious persona, and doesn't like to be disturbed when working. She can be bitterly sarcastic and condescending to some people, but underneath it all, she does mean well, and has a warm, soft spot for people who do make friends with her.
History: Jennifer was born at Raven Rock with the Enclave, but, like some of the American Governments followers, was not necessarily proud of what the faction was up to. Though her parents were avid supporters of the Enclave, and blinded by Patriotic propaganda, Jennifer, a prodigy in her classes, was able to see through the lies, which brought up tensions in her personal life. Drawn to more intellectual things, such as the sciences, Jennifer became one of the Enclave's many scientists, but soon became disturbed by some of the experiments that Enclave was performing. She learned of Eden's creation of the F.E.V to poison Project Purity, and secretly hoped that the Brotherhood would managed to stop the Enclave from their plans.
When the Lone Wanderer was captured and caused President Eden to destroy Raven Rock, Jennifer took one of the Plasma Rifles and quietly made her escape into the Wasteland, heading north to avoid the Enclave arresting her for deserting them. She would stumble into New York. Quickly, she learned that she didn't like the NYF and pressed on to Manhattan. She wanted to go on to the Institute in the Commonwealth, but before she got the chance to leave New York, she made a stop by the Public Library for some research material. There, she met Todd McKowksi, Sarah DeVille, Randy Fredrickson, Kevin Logans, and Alfred Bowers. Immediately, she didn't get along with Kevin, who she found to be an annoying, arrogant prick. So bitter was their relationship that she was going to press on and leave the group. Before she could, however, Super Mutants raided the building. While not trained, Jennifer managed to repel some of the attackers with her Plasma Rifle, but was corned by a Master, armed with a Rebar Club. As the Mutant was about to kill her, Kevin appeared and blew the Super Mutant Master away with his Chinese Assault Rifle. This greatly helped ease tensions between the two.
When Sarah described her plans to help out the less fortunate in the group, Jennifer saw a new possibility for a fresh start. Feeling regretful for her being a part of the Enclave, Jennifer eagerly agreed to help with Sarah's noble goal, and dedicated her time to helping Sarah develop new kinds of medicines to help treat people. Though she doesn't admit it, Jennifer doesn't really have any doctorate. She just calls herself "Dr." Steinem because it makes her feel more important.
