Ah, you want to hear the third chapter of this "Borderlands" saga? This one being more dangerous than the last two combined? Listen everyone, this is the story of the third generation of Vault Hunters...
Before the opening of the Vault, the Dahl Corporation were mining Pandora for any mineral they could get their greedy hands on. Security Officer Elyse Booth found a extremely valuable mineral in extreme abundance, however, there was one big problem. This mineral was attached to a being known as a Crystalisk. The creatures, once docile and kind, befriended her. However, her Dahl superiors ordered her to kill them, lest she be killed herself. This beautiful woman suffered a tragic death; her demise too soon. As Dahl tried to kill the Crystalisks, the mineral-clad quadrupedal fought back, and hard. They wiped out platoons of Dahl soldiers, before eventually, the enemy backed down. This was only the beginning of Dahl's tyrannic toll on Pandora. In the next decade, they mined and mined, eventually finding the prized Eridium...
Eventually, it seemed Pandora was too dangerous, forcing Dahl to back away, bringing only their best men and women back with them. Leaving the miners and soldiers to be eaten up and spat out by the wastelands. Any of the surviving men and women ended up going insane with the allures of the Vault. Come on, think about it. All that money, all those guns, riches beyond your wildest dreams. Now, what would you do for it to be all yours? Well, you're not going alone are you? No! Get some friends together, make a group, stick together. Keep to the basis of strength in numbers. That's exactly what they did, some even going past insanity, being absolutely psychotic. These men and women were called "Psychos" and had masks on their faces with the symbol of the Vault painted on, showing their devotion to the pit of loot and riches.
However, much more organised groups began looking for the Vault, Commandant Steele of the Crimson Lance, Handsome Jack of the Hyperion Corporation and what I like to call... Vault Hunters...
Mordecai, Lilith, Roland and Brick. These four people were the first generation of Vault Hunters; meeting on a bus to Fyrestone. Mordecai was a hunter, a man who showed extreme prowess in long range and close combat, aided by his bird and best friend, Bloodwing in battle. Lilith was one of the universe's seven Sirens, and she played with elements with ease. Fire being the element she favored most. Roland, an ex-Crimson Lance soldier, who favored shotguns and combat rifles, able to deploy a Scorpio Turret in battle. And Brick... Well, Brick was Brick.

The second generation of Vault Hunters came five years later, the first four were Salvador, Maya, Zer0 and Axton. However, another two were found later, named Gaige and Krieg. Salvador is a local of Pandora, and shows extreme prowess when wielding two weapons at once, a process known as Gunzerking. Maya was another of the universe's Sirens, showing a favor to the element of Shock, she used SMGs to fire off as many electric rounds as possible. Zer0 is an assassin, nobody knows his real name, or if he is even human... However, he do know that he is a master of sniping and slitting throats. Axton was a member of Dahl's military, before he fled to Pandora, fearing a dishonorable discharge, or worse... Execution by firing squad. Gaige was a schoolgirl on Eden 5, before she accidentally killed a fellow student with her custom robot Deathtrap. Krieg... Nobody knows much about Krieg, except that he is slowly becoming human again, thanks to Maya. Much better than his original habit of screaming the words poop train.
[EVENTS OF BORDERLANDS 2]
Unfortunately for the residents of Pandora, Dahl were back to tie off loose ends. They began slaughtering everything they saw, bandit, civilian and beast alike. It was up to a new team of Vault Hunters to bring them down, and bring some form of peace back to Pandora. However, Dahl were also racing for Pandora's next Vault, which was rumored to be larger than any of the Vaults across any planet which housed them...
This third generation brought on a first in the universe, the first male Siren. Khârn had black and red tattoos down the side of his body, which glowed a lovely vermilion upon activation. His ability, Phase-Flare, allowed him to destroy his opponent from the inside out. It was devastating to most enemies, but on larger adversaries, it would incapacitate them, or part of them. He stood at 190cm tall, weighed 85kg had black hair and red eyes, contrasting his pale skin and tattoos. He wore black armor, with red as a secondary colour. He also owned a custom Submachine Gun, it was commissioned by him for Maliwan to make. This weapon was black, with orange lights, showing that it is an Incendiary weapon. This gun was known as Salamander. His secondary weapon was an Incendiary RokSalt, called Vulkan.
Our second Vault Hunter is the blonde-haired Sasha. Sasha is an ex-Dahl commando, who still wears the Dahl armour, born on Aquator and raised there too. She was taken to Pandora to keep the convicts under control, but when Dahl backed out they left her behind. Outraged and full of hate, she has decided to rise up and fight a one-woman guerrilla war against Dahl and their genocidal ways. She uses a Dahl sabre turret equipped with a second turret that works like a flamethrower. She also has a highly modified Sabre turret that digitises into a hovering, highly mobile, form equipped with rotars and a single gun to flush enemies out. She uses a Dahl assault rifle with fire orange camo, that shoots incendiary shots.
The third Vault Hunter was Able, a half-cyborg maniac so insane it is rumoured he tore out his own vocal chords for hating the way he spoke. His arms and legs were bulky and mechanical, and large metal head could be pulled off and thrown like a bomb. He was a tank, standing at over 7 feet tall and weighing in over 300 kilograms… his melted face and bloody straight jacket only made him much more terrifying. His weapon was a rare explosive revolver named Samuel.
The fourth and final Vault Hunter was Dante, the fabled Assassin of Assassins. She is well known in myth, debatable whether she exists or not. Her mission is to eliminate rogue killers, but the odd mission for fortune is always fun. Standing 5'7" and weighing 60kg, she is nimble and agile. Her ability is to just disappear, It's actually her armor's cloaking device. She was a Hyperion Assassin, until she thought The Crimson Raider's cause was better, and eliminated a quarter of the Hyperion assassin force in a single night, and left, left into Myth.
