Her parents grew up in vault 192 near Maryland. But, when they found out her mother was pregnant they set off to make there own home. The vault they lived in was getting corrupted and had started getting nightly ghoul attacks. The overseer wouldn't tell what was going on. It took her mother nearly being killed while pregnant for them to finally decide to move. They found many cities to stop in on there journey and found it was easier to fight while in a more open area instead of trapped in a vault. Thus creating Mallsterdam and the Apostles of Enhanced Survival. Eris was born 3 weeks early but amazingly managed to survive. Her parents passed away just a year ago leaving her in charge of Mallsterdam. Before they passed away they were teaching her everything she needed to know for basic survival and to make a good wife someday (why they were worried about that she will never know). Her mother taught her cooking and cleaning and inventing. Her mother's job had been science/inventing while she lived in the vault. Her father taught her how to hunt, fight, use weapons and how to work and create electronics. Her father's job was ironically just a cook while they lived in the vault.

She tries her best to be a good leader and put what she learned from her parents to good use. She is only 18, though, and does make mistakes. People are really just now starting to listen to her. It was a big struggle to get them to listen. Her being only 18 and the shock of her parent's passing...things haven't been easy. But, every day she is proving to be more and more like her parents and the residents are starting to trust her more.

Since her parents have passed one of the residents, Argo, has been by her side. He is like a grandfather to her and is teaching her what her parent's didn't have time to. She is getting better at hunting Mirelurks and Radscorpions thanks to him. He literally saved her life. When her parents first passed she went into a deep depression and nearly killed herself 3 times. But, no matter what, Argo was there for her and helped her with her grief. His wife passed away shortly before Eris' parents did so he knew how hard it was.

How it came about that Super Mutant Behemoths were Gods was actually from her parents. They figured they were Gods because they are so rare and they were so...big...no way could they have ever been normal humans or creatures at that fact. Knowing there wrath, anytime her parents spotted a Behemoth they gave him offerings. Be it food or drink or even stealthboys and they learned when they did this the Behemoths wouldn't attack. The only explanation her parents found was they were Gods who you needed to satisfy. That is what the Apostles of Enhanced Survival believed and still do.

She learned how to fix old pip-boys and all residence of Mallsterdam have one. She is pretty good at spotting scrap (metal, leather, etc.) and tries the best she can to figure out what she could make. The Apostles of Enhanced Survival help the Brotherhood of Steel fight off super mutants and are trying to create a super mutant hybrid.
