After the speedy demise of the so called "capital of democracy" Daxos can see, across the gates, the area of Lacadaemon. His home. Sparta's Home. He knows he's not far now. With a deep breath, spear in right hand hoplon in left and an army behind him he marches.... for home.....

The Hundred and Four weigh the emissaries intentions well, on the one hand they would gain control of one more island in the Mediterranean and would gain access to a valuable trade partner, on the other hand they are relinquishing control of half a region to another empire. What is the use in half a region?
The Hundred and Four allow the emissary to return on one condition. A trade agreement is reached and the Parthians relinquish any claim on the northern coast of Africa and the Italian Peninsula. They would then reroute 2000 gold worth of their navy destined for Carthage where the money will be used to build a settlement instead (-2500) to further Trade.
If trade can not be established and the other conditions are not met then unfortunately the Citizen Navy will be prepared for war.

The emissary is lost in thought for a long time, but ultimately accepts on behalf of the King of Kings. He wishes Parthia's new trading partners peace and prosperity, before returning home to inform his liege of the agreement.

The territories of Paraitonian and Ammonium fall to Hamilcar's armies (-2000), the entire province of Libya belongs to the Hundred and Four. Hamilcar looks East with hungry eyes, Aegyptus lies just across the sands.
But first the Hundred and Four charter a navy at Karalis, they land upon the shores of Italia and quickly subjugate the people of Roma. The admiral, Hasdrubal Barca, claims all of Italia and Magna Graecia as belonging to the Hundred and Four.
An advance Emissary is sent to the Spartans. Should they claim Illyria and the Carthaginians claims Eastern Cisalpina, they would offer trade to the Spartans.
Likewise an Emissary is sent to the Iceni, should they not claim Cisalpina, the Hundred and Four offer yet another trade agreement to the barbarian clans of the north.[rand=80964599738501990325536522762132189549710783597155387440966895584]

Tesbix marches the united tribes forces into Noreia, easily conquering the small province. Word is sent to Verglas of the victory, who was overseeing the building of a settlement in Singidun (-2500). Verglas meets with the Spartan emissary. He throws a large feast in the new hall built in Singidun, providing much drink and excitement to the emissary. Verglas deems the Spartans a worthy nation of warriors, and agrees to the terms.
Tesbix receives the emissary from the Carthaginians. Tesbix invites the emissary to join him in his tent at the military camp. Already knowing his father had no intention to go south of the Alps, he agrees to not march armies into Cisalpina.

Daxos gladly welcomes the Carthaginian emissary to Spartan halls and after hearing what the emissary has to say thinks over the offer and replies.
"O, emissary your offer is good as is your nation. I would however like to counter offer. If we can agree to split up the following territories on this map (http://goo.gl/2BxZQa) like so Sparta would be happy to accept your offer as well as offer a non aggression pact and maybe even more in the not to distant future....."

Enjoying a new birth of peace, the Parthians settle in a territory known by the locals as Arse (while trying not to snicker at the poor savages and their silly names). To celebrate the new trade agreement with the Hundred and Four, Tigmirantee personally oversees the construction of a settlement in Alalia (-2500), and names it Carthagis.

The Carthaginians recieve the counter-response of the Spartans with mixed feelings. They ask for no definite answers until the Carthaginians have claimed Cisalpina and begun trade with the Iceni tribes. Untill then, no Carthaginian boots will step on Magna Graecia until an agreement is made.
