Max Evans Fitzpatrick tried to enlist at the age of 17 with his parents permission. He wanted to see the stars, visit strange and foreign planets all while serving in the Galaxy's greatest fighting force. Mister and Mrs. Fitzpatrick sort of accepted that there was no way to keep their son from enlisting, however they gave him one condition...that he at least finish highschool. Max agreed, and after he graduated highschool, he kissed his parents good-bye and enlisted in the UNSC's Marine corps. He passed bootcamp with good marks, and was shipped off to some planet whose name he no longer remembers to fight Insurrectionists.

Flash forward 17 years and the idealistic recruit was now a tough as nails Sergeant in the UNSC Marine Corp. He has command of his own squad, one of the fire teams a team of greenies, the other a mix of both. He takes personal command of Fire Team August most of the time, relying on the veterans of this squad. He's served wherever the UNSC has needed him, fighting and killing Innies with a dedication to just 'finish the job'. He has a very straightforward view about this, and dehumanizes his enemy to make it easier. He's loyal to the UNSC's Marine Corp, and did not defect to the ONI backed insurrectionists like fellow Sergeant Paul Faulson, a friend of his back in the day.

Currently, his fireteam has been assigned to Redoubt under Spartan Command. Sergeant Fitzpatrick is practically shaking in rage from this development, for not only is he assigned to -garrison- duty, but now he has to do it under a Spartans command.

'Sarge' has some technical aptitude, and has been assigned to repair the sensor arrays as well as an objective on Redoubt during his reassignment.
