SPARTAN Caldwell is nothing short of a burning fuse. On many occasions, he's wanted to hurt squadmates, because they are apparently making him do all the work. He's gone into blind rage on the battlefield, but that's proved to effectively kill enemies. I recommend a long shore leave.

Preston Reece Caldwell was born to Reece Caldwell, a Corporal, and Rose Caldwell, an accountant. Between them, they weren't the most luxurious family, but they didn't go without. They both encouraged Preston to follow with his schoolwork, which was near perfect, and his sport, which was rather good, too. One day after school, some men showed up at the door, and they introduced themselves to Reece as recruiters for the SPARTAN-V Program. Reece convinced his wife to let Preston do it, saying he'll do great things. So within the week, Preston was at a military base being inducted into the program.

Preston was rather good at everything in the program, as he focused rather hard, and his social skills suffered from it.

His Augmentations worked well, and he was assigned to Installation 05 for his first mission, his one went wrong when the team's pelican was stolen by Insurrectionists that had been kidnapped by the UNSC. His fireteam of 5 SPARTANs had taken the leader of the enemy forces' leader, and proceeded to order them to land the Pelican, then they stormed the Pelican, and killed the Innies, but Preston didn't kill any.

After that, he was given his War Master armor, and assigned to the UNSC Feline, a Frigate used for stealth purposes. His duties aboard the Feline was assisting Marine and ODST fireteams in invasion of enemy forces.

On the Feline, he got angrier, hating everyone aboard. He started to think of Insurrectionists, eventually, he wanted to be with them. After a long hard day, he grabbed his pistol, killed the CO and his psychiatrist, and escaped in a Pelican. Afterwards, he landed on the nearest planet, and found his way to a ONI base after a few months of investigation, and hiding from the UNSC. They recruited Caldwell, and sent him to serve under a 'Paul Faulson'.

Together, Faulson and Caldwell got along well, and worked well together in missions. Caldwell spends most of his time training, as there were no longer War Games simulators, he had to find new ways to stay prime when out of battle.
