The road to Nipton was a long one, but not as long as the road they will travel. Marilyn thought of Freeside, how she would be enjoying her singing, enjoying life. But she was brought out of her daydream by Jacob.
"Yuh like Ray's Music? I think wi need to duh sinting with it"
"He's good with the harmonica, I'm a good singer. Perhaps a band?"
Once they reached the town of Nipton, Marilyn was mighty tired, and went straight to bed.

When Dave heard the other's talking, he laughed.
"Our own little band huh? Well, maybe we can right a theme song for our little escapade"
The walk to Nipton was uneventful, and when they arived, Dave took first watch. He awoke Ray around midnight to take over, and as he got up, Dave whispered "Hey Ray...not hard hard feelings, huh? It was just a job, didn't mean nothin' to me. What I'm tryin' to say is, you don't have to worry about me shootin' you in the back or anythin'. I want us to be friends."
Dave smiled and gave Ray a companiable pat on the shoulder, then went to bed.

Ray was sleeping until he got woke up by Dave to take over the watch, when he did Dave said something to him
"Hey Ray...not hard hard feelings, huh? It was just a job, didn't mean nothin' to me. What I'm tryin' to say is, you don't have to worry about me shootin' you in the back or anythin'. I want us to be friends."
Ray grunted and spit on the ground, then he said to Dave
Yea, go get some rest, I still don't trust you mate. now leave me be
Then ray walked away giving Dave no time to respond to this, he took over the watch and nothing happened. He was gonna wake Jacob because he would take the Morning watch (From 4 till 6 o clock)
Hey buddy, Jacob its your turn now
Jacob opened his eye's and Yawned. then he got up and rubbed his eye's a while before saying something to Ray
Mawnin Ray, any trouble?
nothing I noticed, but c'mon lets go, I stay for a little longer and then I go to sleep, you still got that special thing to smoke?
Jacob laughed, maybe he woke somebody in the camp because of it but not that they noticed.
they stayed together an hour and they where pretty high right now, but out of nothing they saw a man running towards them, with nothing on him then his underwear and some handcuffs .When the man was near them they heard him screaming for help they got up and helped the man to the camp. there Jacob woke Marylin and Ray woke up Dave.
Jacob slowly sat next to Marylin and let his hands go trough her hair a couple time's and spoke to her
Hey babe, wi gat a visitor. Dohn be rude an cum to introduce yourself. I Think he wants I&I's Help
Ray on the other hand was not so sweet, and softly kicked Dave in his belly
Gunslinger, get up. we got some situation where we might need you, now
Ray turned around and walked back to Jacob, Marylin and the stranger
when they where all togheter they calmed the stranger and then the stranger spoke
Help, Help me ... I was, in a Caravan and we all got captured by raiders, just up ahead, I managed to escape but my friends are still there. I can't go to the law because its too slow, Please people, help me out. I dont know what to do
then the man started to cry and didn't stopped. Jacob looked from Ray, to Marylin and then to Dave
Shit ... Wah are wi gwine duh?
Jacob hoped they would help the man, Ray already wanted to but it was in the Hands of Marylin and Dave if they would go out and help out this poor man

Marilyn was awoken by Jacob, she felt fingers in her hair, and was startled. She sat up and observed her surroundings.
"Hey babe, wi gat a visitor. Dohn be rude an cum to introduce yourself. I Think he wants I&I's Help"

Marilyn got up, and put her jacket on, then approached the man.
"What in the name of.......how?"

Dave grunted when Ray kicked him awake. Absent-mindedly rubbing his stomach, he stood to one side as the strange man told his story.
When Jacob turned and asked for his advice, he couldn't help but chuckle.
"If the time I spent in Gomorrah taught me anythin', it's to never trust a naked fella in handcuffs. Still, it wouldn't hurt to check it out. I haven't shot anything in DAYS"
He chuckled again and pulled his revolver from it's holster, spinning the cylinder and snapping it back in

Jacob and Ray listened to the others, and became very sad with the answer of Marylin.

Jacob looked her way and while he spoke one tear was rolling from his face to his chin and when he was done speaking the tear dropped on the ground

after the tear dropped the ground Jacob looked at it for a couple of seconds, then he turned around and said to Ray and Dave
Wi need to move, Dem people ain't gonna free themselfs
They walked for like 15 minutes when arriving near a hill, they climbed it and when they where on top of it they saw the raider camp, they spotted ahead and saw 4 raiders. Ray whispered to the others
Small group of raiders to attack a whole caravan right? This thing reeks funny, you dig me?
Jacob wanted to say something back when they got jumped by 4 other raiders
Yep, 3 people to sell, this would like the boss, now walk with us, and we shoot before you could say, Betr-
Gunshot were heard, 2 shots. Jacob froze for a moment and as reaction he drew his gun, then he realized Ray shot the speaking raider, the only raider with a gun, except the boss in the camp, the other 4 raiders in the camp and the 3 raiders next to them up the hill all had Melee weapons. but they Immediately jumped on Ray. one was choking him, while the other was making himself ready to break his bone with a sledge hammer, if he didn't got help he would definitely die. Jacob was too busy shooting the other raider a couple time's in the torso making the raider shiver each time the bullets flew trough his chest. Then he got Into cover and tried to hold off the 5 other raiders down the hill while the Situation with Ray was dealt with.

She watched him leave into the sunset, and her conscience taking the better of her, she looked at the caravaneer, and told him of her plan, then they followed the group at a distance.
Once the fighting started, Marilyn, while not a good sniper, sat up on a ridge with her Varmint Rifle trying to keep the bandits from overrunning Ray, Jacob and Dave. While the Varmint wouldn't do a good job at taking them down, it would at least distract them, but it did kill one raider.

When the four raiders popped out from cover, Dave was a blur. He had his revolver out and was spinning around before the raider had finished talking. When Ray shot the guy, the other two jumped him, one sitting on his chest strangling him, the other hefting a large hammer, ready to crush Ray's head.
Dave fired, once, the man with the hammer collapsed, blood spurting from what used to be his head. The second shot only grazed the other raiders stomach, so Dave lunged forward, and kicked the raider hard in the stomach, he waited for the man to recover, then blasted him between the eyes.
He turned to see the four raiders climbing the hill, he blasted one off of his feet with a solid smack of bullet-on-ribcage.

Ray was lying on the ground preparing to meet his maker when he saw Dave rescuing him. He got up and after Dave shot 1 raider down the hill Ray got into Cover and Yelled to Dave
Thanks man, though I was a gonner for sure there. We need to talk, but first foccus on getting out here alive. oh shit! look!
While there were 3 raiders down hill firering to the group they heared the sound of a Minigun getting prepared to shoot, then they saw a Huge ass raider with a Minigun, and a huge Sledgehammer on his back. walking out of one of the tents, Firering constantly on the group.
Jacob was already in Cover, but Ray and Dave where not. Ray quickly dived onto Dave, saving him from a rain of Bullets, they dove behind a huge rock. Then Jacob Screamed to the Others
Ow are wi gonna handle dis? Wi are outnumbered an outgunned. May jah be wid us
They tried to hold off the raiders While they tried not to be killed, but the Boss came closer every second, shooting rains of bullets at the rocks constantly.

The leathered man saw what was happening with the Raiders. He had been in Nipton for the past few days, and had been leaving when he saw what was going on. He sat on the opposite ridge to Marilyn, and he could get a clear shot against the Minigun raider. Bam. One shot in the chest, dropped the minigun, another, through the temple. He was dead. Liam walked further into the fire, and shot raiders as best he could, and slid into cover next to the other men.
"Liam Richardson, you can thank me later."
He popped up briefly, and scanned the few remaining raiders, and shot them down, and made a dash to the minigun, and picked it up, and fired it extremely inaccurately at the rest of the exposed Raiders, only killing one, he turned to his pistol, and shot the remaining two Raiders, then walked back to the men.
"Howdy."
Marilyn slid down, and as soon as she saw the man, she knew who it was. Her brother.
"Liam?!"
She ran up and jumped and hugged him, Liam caught her, and shook her around.
"How have you been, Em."
"How have I been? I thought you were dead, first you get stabbed at Hoover, then you drop off the face of the Earth and that's all you can say?! I've been pretty swell, still working at the Wrangler."
Marilyn looked back at the group, and introduced Liam.
"Oh, Jacob, Ray, Dave, this is Liam, my brother."

Dave stood up slowly, after being saved by Ray, he had landed on a rock, leaving him with a bruised rib. When he saw Marilyn throwing herself on a stranger, he rubbed the back of his neck, confused by the show of affection.
"Oh, Jacob, Ray, Dave, this is Liam, my brother"
Dave stepped forward and shook the man's hand.
"Howdy friend, I suppose we got you to thank for him". Motioning towards the crumpled form of the raider leader.
"Gotta say, not a bad shot, I'm guessin' you a soldier or somethin'? Anyway, I'm Dave, it's always a pleasure to meet new folk" He lit a fresh cigarette, and offered one to Liam

Woodrow watched from afar with a pair of Binoculars, ashamed that he had not been the one to intervene and save them. In thought of what to do next, he placed his hand on his chin, ducking back behind the rocks further down the road. The Binoculars forgotten about, Woodrow motioned slowly out of his hiding place, his green pallor contrasting heavily with the dull sand-brown earth. He placed his hands in the air, as a sign of non-hostily, calling out loudly at the top of his voice.
"I mean you no harm...! I'm going to come slowly towards you, so don't shoot alright?!"
His Gauntlets, made from Enclave Helmets, stood out among his figure and possibly leading people to think him a killer. He began to take large but meticulous steps towards the group, hands still high in the air...

Jacob came out of Cover when he was introduced to "Her big brother" she saw the reuniting and heard her say
"Oh, Jacob, Ray, Dave, this is Liam, my brother."
Ray walked to the man and shook hands
Hi there buddy, I'm Ray
but Jacob kept looking at the man like he was not welcome, didn't walked to him but at least he had the manners to introduce himself
Mi name is Jacob, yuh dat Babylonian Warrior aayt? Ef yuh are, I dohn shake hand wid a mon who kills di innocent an di weak
Jacob spit on the ground and turned around to walk away, but when he did he heard another voice comming from the upcomming sun
"I mean you no harm...! I'm going to come slowly towards you, so don't shoot alright?!"
Jacob was nailed to the ground while rubbing his eye's
Wah inna di name of Jah may yuh be. Dohn Shoot! its Ah plant or ting yuh know, an ah talking one too!
Ray was also shocked by this mater but because Jacob said not to shoot he kept his gun in its holster, while looking at this shit Ray started to think that this Trip was getting weirder and complexer every day.

Liam looked at Marilyn, then back towards all the other people, but the Rasta, Jacob, would be troublesome.

Dave stared at the creature lumbering up the hill towards them.
"Damn right it's a mutant! You might be best pals with mutants where you come from Jacob, but round here they ain't too friendly. Jesus, what the hell has it got on it's hands?"
Dave moved up by Liam, and pulled his Trail Carbine off of his back
"How the hell do you kill a plant? Does it even have a brain?"
