The Band Goes on Tour ...

"Nope, last I saw they were headed toward Cottonwood cove." said the motel keeper of Novac, taking a swig of Nuka Cola. Lizzie sighed, "Thanks." she muttered and walked outside. Looks like she was heading to Cottonwood cove, now patience is a gospel virtue for a sniper, but she was quickly losing hers. Sighing, she marched out of Novac without a second glance and made her way towards cottonwood cove. The trip, surprisingly, was fairly uneventful. There was always the Radscorpion watching travelers from a hill, but the worst thing they did was hiss and slink away. The wasteland sun pounded mercilessly on her back as she walked on. Dust and sand coiled around her as a breeze picked up. But it's never anything more than a hot, dry breeze

The small settlement of cottonwood cove slowly came into view, as well as people and what looked to be a very large creature. Lizzie immediately went off the road and up a sloping hill, which had what looked like a small shack at the top, from there she could see the whole town. It was more like a hamlet than a town, but that worked out as she saw who was in the group of people. Or what, there was a Deathclaw just staring at them, and it looked like the people were talking to it! But the Deathclaw's lips were moving. Then it hit her, this thing could talk! Then she spotted him. Finally. Her target. She could worry about the deathclaw in a minute, she had a job to finish. Setting the barrel of her rifle on the windowsill of the tiny shack and steadied her breathing. Lizzie lined him in the sights of her rifle and slowly, pulled the trigger.

Both Liam, Marilyn and Nero were shocked by the bullet that flung through the air. They all stood in shock for a moment, before everyone got back into shape. Liam jogged over to his bag, and pulled it over to Ray, whom Liam laid down. As he was dragging the supplies over, Nero growled, and ran as fast as he could over to an outlook on Cottonwood Cove. His eyesight wasn't overly great, but the wind was blowing in his face, meaning the sharpshooter's scent was trackable.

Liam ushered Marilyn and Mr. Coltrane over, and told them to assist him. He was no combat medic, but he knew a thing or two, perhaps enough to stabilize him, get him to Novac. Liam snatched Mr. Coltrane's whiskey, and used it to sterilize a small knife, by the looks of it, a Balisong, and still shiny, meaning it was clean, but you had to be careful. Before began to operate, he rolled Ray over and looked at his back. The bullet went clean through, this would be easier for Liam to operate with, he would probably kill Ray if the bullet broke up in his body. He sat the knife down, and instead got a needle, and some string. He doused them both in whiskey.

Nero closed in on the shack, and her scent was strong here, she may still be here. He both growled, and sniffed the air deeply for a moment. Then he listened. Listened for anything. But there was nothing at the moment. It would be too difficult to track her further if she left, unless she made noise. Nero decided to speak.

"Come out, and I shall grant you a painless death."

Nero extended the word death, almost hissing the th out. Liam threaded the needle, and indicated for Marilyn and Mr. Coltrane to hold him down. Liam then tipped the bottle up, and let it pour through his open wound. He then quickly, but surely stitched Ray up.

"This won't do, we need to get him to Novac where he can get proper medical treatment. These tools weren't properly sterilized, we risk infection. The bullet went through the lung, this is major. I'm not a combat medic, we just need to get him to Novac."

With the escape of the Strange Sniper Jacob felt on his knees dropping his gun and his face on the ground. for several second he stayed that way before jumping on his feet again. when he got his gun back in his pocket he moved over to Ray and helped the group to carry him to Novac. Jacob was silent whole the time until arrived in Novac.

They brought him to the doctor and Jacob stayed with him while the doc was treathing him he waved for Marilyn to come over and when she was with him he whispered something

Love, can yuh duh a likkle errand fah mi. a pencil an some paypa?

Jacob watched how his beautyfull girl walked of to get the supplies he asked for. he then layed his hands on Rays head and he felt warm, he was sleeping after treatment so he would let him sleep.

Jacob opened his book to read in but not before rolling another Joint and after 30 minutes of reading he came accros this line

He immideatly jumped up to show it to the others, even while he could crack the riddle he knew he found the lost clue towards it so when he was with the group ( all except Mister C) he gave the paper to Liam

Meanwhile Mister C dissapeared into Novac and headed to the bar to get himself drunk. he was going pretty well until some dark looking feller sat next to him and did im an offer

Mister C read the contract, Slave, Money, Captivity all words came across several time's and even the name's of all his friends where on it. 'all that money" he tought but pushed it away immidiatly. 'we will think about it' he thought before wobbling back on his cane towards the group to join in the meeting of the paper and waited for next tings to come.

Jacob Looked at Liam when he was reading the page of the book and when he heared what he had to say Jacob was verry eager to listen also playing with one of his dreads because of being nervous

"Bloodborne Cave. I've seen reports of the place, protected by nightstalkers. If we're going to have any chance, we'll need the deathclaw. He's been following us at a distance, protecting us. Once we leave Novac, he'll find his way to us."

Jacob did a step backwards and rubbed his chin, after a while of thinking he spoke to Liam:

Then out of nowhere Mister C took a step forward and while walking he tapped his cane on the ground, and with a bit sinister smile he said:

Dear people, Ray is Injured. I will watch him and we meet in Freeside, Deal?

Jacob Thought this was a splendid Idea so he agreed, and with that they started their journey towards Bloodborn Cave ...

With Liam up front the group walked North towards where they would meet the Deathclaw, Nero, While Mr C and Ray stayed behind. After a good 20 minutes walk they Finnaly found Nero, from here you could see the whole area, Novac to the South, Helios One to the West and their destination, Bloodborne Cave more to the North.

It was a strange but Beautifull sight, the hot desert landscape with sand and rock, the cracked Highway ahead of them, it all sort of fitted in just nice. after Jacob looked a few seconds to the seroundings he turned around to the group, moving his thick brown dreads from side to side and cleared his troath:

He led Liam and Nero go ahead Marilyn behind them and himself was walking behind, with both his hands in his pockets slowly walking behind admiring the beauty of ... everyting! well and especially Marilyns beauty Damn Jah, Yuh gave dat oman som nice hips an aal he thought by himself before he lighted up a nearly crumbled joint, he took a few pufs before passing it on to Marilyn

Just before sundown they where near Bloodborne Cave Jacob ran towards Liam because Jacob was again a bit behind the group, and tapped him on his shoulder. when Liam turned around he looked into his eye's, you could see the real eager of a soldier man who was dedicated to his job so Jacob quickly said what he had to say

After he finished his conversation with Liam he saw a couple shadows near some big boulders a few yards ahead, and he though he heard some rattling noice too, but he shook is head to this Idea, how could that be possible, they would'nt come here right? or not?

When Nero and Liam left he heared some gunshots, guess he was right about the sound. but after awhile they where laying down trying to get to sleep when he felt the warm embrace of his woman, then she sat on him and he listened to what she said

"We have time...

his eye's grew a bit wider at what she said, whas she meaning? would she really? Jacob got up and wrapped his arms around her nicely curved thighs and while he looked into her shinning eye's he whispered towards her

he kissed her onto her soft lips and when she layed down again he started to read again, until finnaly he grew tired and fel asleep himself too, his last thought before he slept where how would Liam and Nero do? but he could never gave it much time to think cause he slept like a rock untill they came back.
