Lily's family were NCR farmers, and they raised her girl with strictness, not letting her be out for over an hour, not talking to any strangers, and definitely no boys. So you could bet she was quite defiant. But one day, her father beat her, her mother, shot his son, then shot himself, all while high on psycho. The boy died. Lily was close to him.
She took solace in talking to a boy in LA, Lucas Vega. Together, they became good friends. When she was 19, she was presented with a replica of Vera Keyes' iconic dress by Lucas' mother, Mia. She loved the dress, but rarely wore it out, as she had nowhere to go. She stayed like the shy girl she was.
When the opportunity for her to visit New Vegas appeared, she accepted. Travelling with her friends Lucas and Quincy to Vegas to deliver a letter. On the way, they visited the 11th Military Cavalry base, and she was amazed by the base.
The true adventure arrived when they got to Primm, specifically the Vikki and Vance Casino. They won some caps.. With the money, she brought Reinforced Leather armor off of a trader, and then they forwarded to Vegas.
