Other Notable Figures:
Coast Runners Chieftan Crazy-Mirelurk
Jumpers Chieftan Jumps-Higher-Than-All

Beliefs: Spirit Worship
Allegiances: The Tribes all owe allegiance to themselves, but Walks-With-Spears is the head Chieftan.
Enemies: The Guards, The Invaders, Intruders, Interlopers, etc. Basically the Guards. The Port is sometimes seen as an intruder as well, if they do not steer clear.
Headquarters: Riverhead
Description:
The Warriors Fields are where all warriors go to train, including the children of warriors. They are taught by eldery warriors who beat them, abuse them, and are rather savage. All to turn these boys into men. Outsiders are rarely allowed here.
The Chieftans Home is a -NO- NO- unless summoned. It is guarded by Five Thunder Archers at all time, the loyalest of his men. Unless you are granted by a summons, stepping here is a good way to get your head chopped off.
The Sacred Grounds are shrines dedicated to the Three Major Spirits of the Forks Tribals. Defiling any of these shrines will automatically make the Confederacy hostile to you.
The Riverhead Spirits Shrine is the center one. The Image is that of an indian head taken from the Riverhead Race Track.
The Dog Spirit is the top right one, and it is a dog skull mounted on a stick.
The Spirit of the Mirelurk is the left one, and there is a Mirelurk shell, surrounded by destroyed eggs.
The Great Market has all the goods from all the tribes that are traded there. This location is accessible to outlanders who wish to deal, so long as they are no friends of the Guards.
The Visitors District is where the 'inns' are. Here, a traveller can barter for a safe place to stay.
The Tribal Dwellings are the homes of the urban tribals who live here. Travellers are allowed to pass through, but shouldn't linger.
Locations: Everything West of the Forks, the Port, and the Pirates. (So far as they know), in reality, it's the town of Riverhead and the lands surrounding it. Tribes are nomadic however, besides Riverhead tribals. So, in reality it's wherever they choose to camp.
Armaments: Most tribals use spears and that's really it, along with some bows. The Riverhead Tribals have access to firearms similar to the ones the Guards' conscripts wield, and often give them to the best warriors from the tribes. They also reinforce the spears the other tribes have, making it so they don't collapse.
Armor and Uniform: None whatsoever. Each tribe has its own individual paint scheme that their warriors bear proudly, but they do have one thing in common. They all wear scraps of leather armor.
Vehicles: None Whatsoever
Technology: Primitive Tribal Technology for the most part, one group of Tribals within the Riverhead Tribe known as the 'Thunder Archers' which wield the bolt action rifles.
Other:
The Coast Runners- The Coast Runners are a Tribe whose warriors adorn themselves in dark blue paint, and as a people worship Mirelurk spirits. They are a hardy group of tribals, fierce in battle due to their main food source being the mutated fish and Mirelurk of Long Island, and most of their culture revolves around the Mirelurk with even some of their weapons being made of mirelurk shell. A few have been known to wear breastplates of Mirelurk bone. They run along the coastal area's of the bay, avoiding the old docks as a taboo location for reasons unknown. They are the Riverheads Chief competitor, and number around 600. Chieftan Crazy Mirelurk is revered as their leader, and a hero. He once beheaded three Guards with one strike from his Mirelurk club. They trade their Mirelurk products with the Riverhead Tribals for other basic necessities such as leather armor, and non-Mirelurk products and substances to keep them going.
The Jumpers are the smallest tribe in the Confederacy, numbering around 200. This was not always so, but they were also cursed with being the first tribe to encounter the Guards, and were the quickest to be subjugated. Their people died, no match for the Guards' advanced weaponry. They get their name from the odd ritual they have when migrating fromp lace to place....when they encounter the road that splits their territory up, they throw down mutated radroach shells and jump from shell to shell in an attempt to avoid touching the road. They believe the road contains the spirits of their ancestors, as it was on the road they were dominated, thus, they refuse to step on these spirits. They are completely loyal to the Riverhead Tribals, and completely reliant on them as well...infact, most tribes don't even recognize them as a separate tribe at this point, and there are rumors abounding that the Jumpers might not exist for much longer. They are peaceful by nature, and are only really good for providing leather from the animals they hunt to the Riverhead Tribals.
The Confederacies trade language is a mix of English-German-and Spanish, bastardized of course. Keep in mind, this is a -very- crude language, mixed to the point where it's just garble at times.
For example, saying
Hello: 'Halla'.
Good Morning: 'Gut morna'
Lying Son of a Bitch: 'Lying soja of a puta!"
Outlander: "Owslander."
Good luck: 'Gut fortu'
Well Armored Opponent: 'Buen-panz enemy!'
They Speak Well: "Tey sprecke buen"
For The- : "Fer da-"
For has turned into 'Fer;
The has turned into 'Da'
They has turned into 'Tey'
Speak: Sprecke
Well/Good: Gut/Buen
Armor: Panz
Son/Daughter/Children: Soja, Doja, Chilas.
Warriors: Variors
Guns: Thunder Sticks etc.

The tribes themselves individually have a fairly basic history, so, you will not be bored with the usual.
This is a history of the Confederacy, as the individual tribes will be allowed to be made by players if they so choose.
The Confederacy is a relatively new organization. It was made thirty-three years ago when the tribes West of Robin Island first made Contact with the Military Organization known as the 'Guards'. Immediately, they knew something was wrong. The Guards had no interest in trading, only conquest. They marched into Tribal Villages, slaughtering all who stood in their way, and putting the buildings to the torch. The final insult came when they disfigured the Coast Runners statue of a Mirelurk, their spirit creature.
The Tribes west of Robin Island fled to Riverhead, where the strongest tribe had made its home. The Riverhead chieftan called a meeting together at that time, and offered the tribes protection...training...and victory.
If they made him Head Chieftan of a new tribe, the Tribe of Tribes.
Thus, the Riverhead Confederacy was born.
The young Riverhead Tribal leader at the Time, 'Walks With Spears', wasted no time in regaining lost lands. He sent his bravest warriors, the Thunder Archers, east. The Thunder Archers inspired awe in the other Tribals, an elite brotherhood of warriors armed with the greatest of all Weapons...
The Thunder Sticks.
The Guards would know these weapons as 'Guns', or 'Fire-arms', or 'Rifle'. Whatever they called them, they were taken completely by surprise when this band of warriors started ambushing them, picking off officers and NCO's, and destroying Morale. They fought as Guerilla Fighters, laying ambushes and then slipping away, causing Chaos as they went. They raided Guard Protected Farms in the area, destroying food supplies.
The Guards, for the first time in over two hundred years, were forced to retreat.
They pulled back out of the lands, fortifying their positions leading to the Forks And Shelter. The other Tribes sent their warriors now to aid the Thunder Archers...and this is when the disaster happened. The over-eager tribes rushed headlong at Guard Fortifications, ignoring the Ferries near the coast.
It proved to be their undoing.
The ferries were equipped with .50 Cal MAchine guns, which opened fire on the Tribal wave before it got close to the positions. And when they did, Guard rifle fire succeeded in breaking them up.
This battle was known by the Guards as the Great Victory. It was known as the Saddest Day by the Confederacy. The rest of the Island tended to call it by the name of the location it happened at...
The Battle of Mattituck.
The Three year reclamation was over.
For the past thirty years, the Guards and Riverhead Confederacy have fought a back and forth war, with tribal numbers usually succeeding in driving the Guards back, but not being enough to actually strike back. It has degenerated into a stalemate.
