Like most of the Brotherhood, his parents were in the Brotherhood, and he was born into it. He was raised on the West Coast, but he left with his parents to go with Owyn Lyons to the East. He was taught basic English, Math, Science and a lot of tinkering. His parents were kind people, but they had died when their patrol got attacked by a behemoth. He was always repairing something or improving it, and has been tinkering with his Plasma Rifle for a very long time. And has more accuracy from a modified barrel and firing mechanism.
When the time came to choose between the Scribes or the Knights, He followed in his father's footsteps and became a Knight. And had a determination to be feared, he wanted to prove to the Brotherhood that he wasn't one to squander with. He was promoted to Paladin after helping the Lone Wanderer at the Mobile Base Crawler. And he has been useful in stripping down Enclave tech.
