Personality: In actuality he is extremely cunning, ruthless, and clever, highly capable as a spy and operative of the Legion. For his current cover he is serving as an occasionally violent, brash, and loudly outspoken individual who has, seemingly, broken away from the Legion for the purpose of following the leader of the Rancher Rebellion who he claims is Julius Caesar reborn to anyone who asks or will listen. Therefore, despite the truth of things, he seems to be fanatically loyal to the "Caesar" and the Rebellion.

Martius was born into the legion, the son of a slave girl and high ranking legionnaire. As such he was raised in the Cult of Mars and to be fanatically loyal to whomever in the Legion held the title of Caesar. As he grew up, and grew into a hulking specimen of humanity, it was logical for the Caesar to choose a boy whose loyalty was completely unwavering to serve as one of his Frumentarii.

During the training to become a Frumentarii Martius excelled, in particular at the firearms and survival aspects. He also became extremely adept at selecting the right kinds of strategies to use to ensure that he was able to gather the maximum amount of information for the Legion. Despite his size he became very adept at hiding in the most uncommon of places, including right under the noses of enemies by pretending to have either reformed from his previous ways or to have transferred his allegiance to the enemy commander who was "the new Caesar" or "Caesar Reborn" or "the greater son of Mars".

Martius is currently working for the Legion as a spy that has infiltrated the Rancher's Rebellion. In this guise he is hiding as Priest of Mars that views the leader of the Rebellion as "Julius Caesar reborn". In this guise he is, seemingly, fanatically loyal to the Rebellion's leader viewing them as a sort of god or demi-god and urging others in the Rebellion to worship their leader.
