The birds were tweeting happily when the knock at the door came. Mal lifted his grey muzzle, looked at the door for a moment, then got up and padded to his masters side. He pushed his wet nose into Dunaar's side, just enough so that he was awake for the second knock. Dunaar sat up groggily, and rubbed his face with a rough hand. "One moment!" He called out. He got out of bed, stretched out his back and took a swig of wine from his skin.
He walked to the door and opened it, only to look down on a dark elf in very expensive-looking robes. The Dunmer looked very old, and very wise.
"What do you want?" Asked Dunaar, not unkindly.

Viareth was already awake when she heard the door of the Dungeon make an irritating noise, she was laying on the jail bed with one knee pulled back, she was playing with a coin when the Dark elf walked down, when she heard the voice of her she suddenly stopped playing with the coin and looked straight at her"
What are you doing in here"
Viareth laughed and answered
I am on vacation Honey, what does this looks like? I tried to steal from you and I failed
she blew her hair out of her face while putting the coin back in her pocket and continued
Guess I earned it, but this bed is getting rather uncomfortable can you get your Master or whatever he is, and will you ask him to release me, or do you come here to torture me?
she looked towards Merilar while she got up and streched her body then she sat down on the bed, waiting for the responce of the Dark elf

Modyn looked at the Orc, with proudness in his face. He extended his arm, he shook Dunaar's hand, and introduced himself.
"You must be Dunaar, welcome to Sau av Morae, I'm Modyn. I do hope the beds were comfortable."
Merilar sat on the stool, and grinned at the Bosmer Thief.
"Well girl, seems your luck is out."
Merilar couldn't help but notice the woman's body. Petite frame, beautiful. She grabbed at Merilar's eyes like a starving man to food. Merilar grabbed the key, and opened the cell door, and let her out.
"You're probably just looking to carve out a life, come, have some food"

Dunaar shook the elves hand, still a little groggy.
"The bed was nice enough. Softer than anything else I've slept on in the last month. Good to meet you Modyn. If you give me a minute, I can get dressed, and we can talk proper."
Dunaar strapped his armour back on; the only clothes he had, and walked out of the room, Mal at his heels.
"This is my dog Mal, we are both starving, how about we talk over breakfast?"

"You're probably just looking to carve out a life, come, have some food"
Viareth heared this and thought about food, bread some good piece of meat, maybe some wine too, oh but only bread would just be amazing, she hadn't had food in 2 days straight and every meal was welcome now so she jumped up and spoke to the other lady
Food? I'm starving, lead the way madam
then she would follow Merilar to the room where they would go for breakfast when ariving in the room her convident walk got slower and slower until she stood still and looked at the room she saw an long wooden table with several chairs on the table there was an huge amount of food, plate's with bread and sliches of meat, huge chunks of cheese, milk and even wine. on the wall where several pieces of art about the Mannor. when she was done looking she moved to one corner of the room and sat down on a stool, there she tought that she would never be allowed to eat with these people, or that those people where so forgiving that se would be allowed to eat with them. and on that moment the wall around her feelings that she kept up for so long finaly came down for a moment and she started to cry softly with 2 tears rolling down her cheek she looked up and asked Merilar still crying while speaking:
Am, Am I really allowed to sit at the table with all of you? Its just, I never would expected this I think I will just wait on this stool until Modyn come's
Then she burted out in tears again while waiting for the others to join

Modyn nodded at Dunaar's suggestion, and they walked over to a round table in the Inn. Modyn ordered the usual, Rabbit Meat. He aquired a taste for rabbit meat when he entered Skyrim. He also ordered a side of water.
"So Dunaar, what brings you to Sau av Morae?"
Dunaar could of course just be wanting to rest, on his way to Solitude or Markarth. But Modyn liked to be nice to travellers. He was there at one stage. He thought to his prisoner, he hoped Merilar's good nature didn't release her.
His attention snapped back to Dunaar, mostly with his dog rubbing against his legs. Modyn bent down and gave the dog, Mal, a pat. Which turned the dog back to his master. Modyn started to enjoy his food.
Merilar felt bad, making the woman cry. She hopped up, and walked over to her, and put her arm around her. While comforting her, Merilar tried to convince her to come over and eat, as Merilar was concerned with her slim figure.
"Please, come eat, there is no need to wait for Modyn."
Merilar went back to her seat, next to the large one at the end of the table, and started eating some fruit. She tapped on the seat next to her, intending for her to sit down. Merilar was a naturally kind woman, not liking people to be cruel in any way, and thievery was cruel.
Possibly she could work for Sau av Morae, and carve out a living here. Modyn was more then accomodating. Modyn wouldn't be opposed to the idea, as he was a believer in working for your money.

Dunaar sat down opposite Modyn, looking around the tavern. He never really got a chance to see the place last night. He thought the place was homely, and comfortable. He ordered a side of roasted pork, and a mug of ale, and a similar sized chunk of beef for Mal, Mal hated eating pigs. Dunaar had always assumed the boar's tusks made reminded the dog of hiss master. The ale and food were both excellent, which made him like the place even more.
He looked up from thoughtfully chewing when Modyn started speaking. "So Dunaar, what brings you to Sau av Morae?" Dunaar chewed slowly, trying to think of a good answer. Truth was, Dunaar had no idea what he was doing in the town. He had been walking along the road late at night, when he had seen the town. Dunaar had never bothered much with lying, he had never seen the point. He swallowed, then started speaking.
"Not sure yet. I don't generally stay long in small villages, but there's something about this place I like. I reckon my boys would like it too, If I ever managed to drag them from their mountain. Well, that of course depends if you would want an old Orc adn his two incredibly rowdy sons."
Mal had been sniffing around Modyn's plate, his beef chunk long since eaten. The dog was easily tall enough to simply reach over and grab the rabbit with a lunge of his long neck. But Dunaar had taught the wolfhound very well, and would never steal food. When Modyn failed to give him anything, he tried his master. Dunaar gave the dog a half-hearted swat. "Don't bother you great hairy beast, you'll get nothing from me."

"Please, come eat, there is no need to wait for Modyn."
Viareth looked up to Merilar and stared at her eye's with an open mouth, was she really sure? letting a thief eat with you? she slowly stood up and walked towards the seat next to her, then she grabbed a plate and stuffed it full and started eating everything that stood ther and when eating she put some foods in her pockets, so sneaky that nobody could ever notice because she didn't knew how her sort future will look like she beter take as much food with her as possible. While eating she talked to Merilar
Why do you do this? I could just run and you would never see me again, I won't cause I never been treated this good when I was captured so I stay, look what Modyn had in mind for me but I think its rather weird to treat a thief like this.
she continued eating while looking outside, she saw beautifull surroundings, some oak tree's, nice, big, strong and old with beautifull green leafs. she saw those tree's and wondered about her Origins, Vallenwood how would it be there. would she have a beter life there? but she was here to get rich and famous and she needed to focus on that now
she stoped thinking and looked back to Merilar and she asked
are you never currios about your homeland Merilar, wasn't it? sometimes I really wish to see Vallenwood, and help my fellow Elves but I never been there. do you know how your homeland is?
then she looked back trough the room to the several things on the wall, the paintings and the animal heads and wondered where Modyn would be, she wanted to hear what he had to say, but she would try to keep a nice conversation until he was here.

The food on Merilar's plate consisted of mostly fruits and an apple pie. The pie helped with her magicka, and the fruits was to stay healthy. If a mage was ill, it could severely limit her abilities. Merilar liked to be prepared at all times. And she quite wasn't prepared for what Viareth said to her.
"Why do you do this? I could just run and you would never see me again, I won't cause I never been treated this good when I was captured so I stay, look what Modyn had in mind for me but I think its rather weird to treat a thief like this."
Merilar had to think this through before responding. Modyn, as he was out, didn't know that she had released Merilar, but if he heard Merilar yelling out, he'd be out of the inn and have a fireball or an atronach conjured in a jiffy. And even an agile thief couldn't outrun fireballs or ice spikes. But the question itself, why did Merilar release her? Modyn was a careful man, patient. It came with his age, and Merilar was still young in Dunmer terms, so she was a tad naive, and believed all should be treated kindly. Thief or Assassin, Mage or Warrior.
"Viareth, it would be unwise to run, you have free food. Plus, if Modyn heard me yelling, he'd be in the open with an atronach casted. You wouldn't survive long. I believe that all should be treated equally."
Viareth seemed interested in the scenery of Sau av Morae, and she had to give it to the old man, he knew how to pick where to live. Viareth's question made it seem that she was looking at the trees. They were reminding her of Valenwood, the province of the Wood Elves, Bosmer. Merilar was not familiar with the forests of Valenwood, she had never been there. Only Morrowind, Skyrim and Cyrodiil.
"are you never currios about your homeland Merilar, wasn't it? sometimes I really wish to see Vallenwood, and help my fellow Elves but I never been there. do you know how your homeland is?"
"I am curious of Morrowind some times, yes, but it is an ashen wasteland, and living there is difficult. I doubt there is much help for my people so long as ash keeps pouring from the tip of Red Mountain."
Modyn had enjoyed his meal, and saw that Dunaar was enjoying his too. The dog, however, was still hungry. It was in a man's best interest to feed his animal, be it dog or horse, they were living, and needed sustenance. Now thinking of it, Modyn had to feed his dog, too.
"Not sure yet. I don't generally stay long in small villages, but there's something about this place I like. I reckon my boys would like it too, If I ever managed to drag them from their mountain. Well, that of course depends if you would want an old Orc adn his two incredibly rowdy sons."
"Dunaar, all are welcome here. Be they Orsimer or Khajiit. I would have no quarrel with more people. I'd say that Orcs would be wonderful guards. You are welcome whenever you like, Dunaar. Say, you may want to meet Merilar, a....friend. And also my apprentice. She very much likes to meet newcomers. Reminds me, I need to sort out a problem back at my house. Would you care to join me?"
Modyn cared not for if he was coming or not, the thief was an urgent matter, one that he should have sorted out earlier. He half expected Merilar to be feeding her. Modyn walked at an urgent walking pace through the town, and got the shock of his life when he entered his house. Merilar was having breakfast with the thief!
"Merilar, what do you think you're doing?"
Modyn had a ice spike spell ready, in case the thief tried something, but he casually stood next to Merilar, eager to hear her explanation.

Dunaar had travelled for several years with Mal, ever since he bought the dog in Markarth. The merchant had joked "A giant dog for a giant Orc." It had made sense to Dunaar at the time. Mal was sitting next to Dunaar his head resting on the Orc's leg, his eyes looking up at him pitifully as he wined. Mal has always eaten a lot. Then again, so did Dunaar, so who was he to complain?
"Dunaar, all are welcome here. Be they Orsimer or Khajiit. I would have no quarrel with more people. I'd say that Orcs would be wonderful guards. You are welcome whenever you like, Dunaar. Say, you may want to meet Merilar, a....friend. And also my apprentice. She very much likes to meet newcomers. Reminds me, I need to sort out a problem back at my house. Would you care to join me?"
Dunaar ordered another beef stake, paid for it and stood up. "You're very kind sir. And you are correct in saying we make good guards. I'm actually a smith by trade, but in a few years time my sons would be perfect for such a role. Merilar? Is that another elf? I suppose it wouldn't hurt to meet...him? I don't know Elf names well. Too much time in my own races company. A problem? I'm good at solving problems. Happy to help".
Dunaar had been a married man long enough to know that the old elf had feelings of some sort towards the other elf. He kept it to himself though, no need to make pointless conversation. Especially if the Elf denied it, then it would get complicated. Dunaar didn't like complicated.

"Viareth, it would be unwise to run, you have free food. Plus, if Modyn heard me yelling, he'd be in the open with an atronach casted. You wouldn't survive long. I believe that all should be treated equally."
Viareth Listened to this and while eating a apple she laughed out loud she pushed the chair back a bit and layed her boots on the table, nice leather boots of fine thief guild quallity. then she layed her head back and started to toss little pieces of apple up and in her mouth while speaking
I already said that I won't leave didn't I, im currious about what Modyn has to say when he see's when you had let me out, and besides that I think I can make it comfertable here
Then when she was enjoying some grapes as the same way as with she did with the apple she listened to what she has to say about Morrowind
"I am curious of Morrowind some times, yes, but it is an ashen wasteland, and living there is difficult. I doubt there is much help for my people so long as ash keeps pouring from the tip of Red Mountain."
but when she just wanted to say something back Modyn was there already with an Ice spell at the ready, she didnt moved a muscle and started laughing again, then she removed her boots from the table and stood up from the table she looked at the dog who where with Modyn and the Orc 2 dogs and 2 men, but what a beautifull creatures she thought she looked at the one of the orc and saw that it was huge, larger than most Dogs but she liked him. but now when she was standing she turned her head on her shoulder and looked Modyn in the eye from this weird angle
You really going to put a spell on me? or her? for freeing me? well you had plans for me didn't you go ahead, I'm waiting
she put both her hands on her hips as she turned her head straight again looking Past Modyn and the Orc trough the door she saw verrious beautifull flowers in pink, yellow red and even blue collour. she didn't looked straight at Modyn because if she was going to recieve some Ice Spike she didn't wanted to see it coming at her face. now it was just a matter of fate if the old Dunmer would shoot or not

Modyn had no idea what to make of this situation. His apprentice was letting prisoners out. She had no right to do so. Where did she get the key? Oh that's right, he left it sitting on the wall. He made a mental note of this. Hey, at least the Wood Elf was not dripping mud and filth through his house. Merilar was usually a good judge of character, and if she trusts this Bosmer, he might just give her a chance. He lowered his spells.
"You really going to put a spell on me? or her? for freeing me? well you had plans for me didn't you go ahead, I'm waiting"
"I do not believe in punishing students with violence. I shan't hurt Merilar. And yes, I did have plans for you, but I am not going to be hurting you. You stole from me. You must pay penance. Your punishment will be community service. You can either choose to assist me, or be locked in that cell for a month. I'll give you a moment to decide."
Merilar gave Modyn a puzzled look, and stood up, that's when she noticed the Orc. She gave him a smile, and then led the elderly Dunmer away into a seperate room. She wished to have a few words to him, privately.
"Modyn, let her off the hook, she's already paid in my book, she's suffering, and she came into here to steal to live. Offer a job, yes, but do not force her to work."
Modyn thought for a moment, but decided to go along with his plan anyway.
"No, Merilar. I also need to have a word with you over what happened last night."
Modyn and Merilar walked back out, and Modyn sat at his normal chair, the largest, and then invited Dunaar to sit down. He wanted to hear what Viareth's life is like. He'd do this by asking her history.
"Bosmer, what have you done in your life?"

As Modyn led Dunaar through the town, the large Orc looked around himself, finding the village even more beautiful than when he had the previous night. The houses surrounding him as he strode up the road were old fashioned, but pretty and well kept. The whole atmosphere of the town was incredibly contented and happy. Even though a civil war had ravaged the country not a decade ago, the village didn't have a single scrap of evidence that a war had even happened. Dunaar had been with his wife in the Mountains to the west during the brunt of the war, but almost every city and village he had come across since he had restarted his travels had some sort of evidence that a battle had happened, many cities being repaired after taking massive siege damage. Dunaar had been dead-set on simply travelling for a few years until returning to the Shaal tribe where he would live out the rest of his life, die, and be buried next to his wife. This town gave him pause for thought on his plans however. He had many favors both owed and owned from people across Skyrim, but if he spent a few months tying up loose ends, he could live here very happily.
His day-dreams were cut short when Modyn led him through the front gate of a large mansion. The inner courtyard was fairly plain, but Dunaar did spot a large forge to one side of the gate. Dunaar made a mental note to visit the forge at some point during his stay, talking metal with other professionals had always been a passion of his. The inner hallway of the house was very clean and tasteful. Dunaar had only been in houses like these very rarely, when he had been forced to work as hired muscle, but to enter a house so beautiful without having to grovel to the owner for a job made the place ten times more pleasant.
Mal was happily licking his lips after the second stake had been devoured during the short walk, but suddenly his head shot up, and he stared intently at a petite wood elf sitting very casually at a large table, her boots on the table. Modyn had some sort of magic charged in his hand. Dunaar raised his eyebrows, and looked down at Mal.
"I'm guessing this person isn't Merilar" Dunaar muttered to his dog, who grunted, as if confirming this. Dunaar had left his hammer in the inn, but made sure to keep himself between the elf and the door. Even someone quick wouldn't be able to slip past someone that took up the entire doorway.
Dunaar phased out for a while, thinking about whether he should ask about maybe getting a bit of work, or just moving on in the evening while Modyn took talked to the two elves. Dunaar had noticed the second one when she had smiled to him. He returned the smile. "I suppose this one is Merilar. Pretty little thing, no wonder Modyn likes her" Dunaar thought to himself.
After a while Modyn shut himself away with Merilar, but returned after a few moments to sit down at the big table. He gestured for Dunaar to sit down, so he plonked himself opposite Merilar. He considered himself too old to be made uncomfortable my small things like strangers, so he simply across the table and offered him large hand to her.
"Dunaar gro-Shaal. Wandering smith and warrior by trade. Who are you?"

When Modyn and Merriar where away to speak with each other she put her boots again on the table, this was for her the most comfortable way to sit down, she continued eating when she suddenly was shocked by the question Modyn asked
"Bosmer, what have you done in your life?"
she layed down the apple she was eating on the table again when she shook her head a bit, then when she realised he was asking it to her she opened her mouth to speak
Born in the beautifull land of Vallenwood, but I never lived there long, I got 'Adopted' by some Imperial rich merchant and they used me as a cheap labour. eventually i was robbed by the Thieves Guild but my 'Father" never payed my Ransom, so the guild took me in and trained me to what I am now. Im still part of the guild but don't come around much more, Im here for Imperial blood on my dagger and arrows. well thats about my life in an nutshell, happy to hear I got such a beautifull childhood right?
then she picked up the apple and noticed the Orc across Merriar, he was big strong and bulky, he could handle himself in a fight, good, she needed to remember that may be of use later. she looked back to Modyn and really wanted to get her 'dept' away with this bosmer so she asked
Well, what is the Job I want to get it over with. I agree to your terms but I want to get things done now, so tell me
now she waited for Modyn to answer her question and Finaly get something done today..
