The sun was shining in Haafingar, a beautiful day. The Seran Estate was in pristine condition as always, Hrongar at the forge made sure the guards weapons were in top-notch condition. The greatest building in this village was accompanied by a dog patrolling the decks, and a dark elf man leaning on the balcony, watching over what he could see from his post.
"What is it, Victory?"
The man's dog was pulling at the bottom of his pants, trying to tell him of new people coming to the estate. A foreign man, from the island of Solstheim, this man was a Skaal blacksmith, sent to apprentice under Hrongar.
"Ah, yes, we best be welcoming, eh?"
The Dark Elf left the large house, and walked to the forge. Hrongar, the blacksmith, was working busily on the grindstone, sharpening the blade of an Elven Longsword.
"Hrongar, the Skaal man that was sent to apprentice under you is approaching the Estate, let us greet him."
The blacksmith stopped the grindstone, and got up from the seat.
"Aye, let's."
Hrongar sat the sword on a bench, and walked with Modyn down to the entrance where the Skaal man was getting off the carriage. Modyn and Hrongar walked over and picked up Embry's bags. Victory, Modyn's dog, barked at the carriage, and Modyn was suprised when a bark was returned, that's when Embry's dog hopped off of the carriage. It seemed that the two dogs got off to a good friendship.
"Ah, Embry, I am Modyn, the owner of the town, I say, it's good to be working with the Skaal again. I'll leave you to Hrongar."
Modyn walked back to his house, and entered it, the dogs playing outside of it. Hrongar though, he showed Embry around the forge, and wasted no time getting to work. Hrongar was suprised with Embry's skill.
"This forge is pretty different from the one we use at the village. Definitely more sophisticated and hot."
Embry was finishing up sharpening the Elven Sword that Hrongar was using when Modyn had told him of Embry's arrival. Hrongar himself was watching the two huskies playing.
"Hm? Oh yes, fire salts, Modyn orders shipments every two months or so. I wonder where he gets all of his money."
Victory was chasing Elgrim around Sau av Morae, but after a while, they got bored, and Elgrim proceeded to do what he usually did when Embry was at the forge, giving him a hand. Victory on the other hand had entered Modyn's house, and went to give his master his attention.
"Best not to pry into a man's financial situation. His business is his business."
Hrongar could tell Embry was a wise man. Hrongar had only encountered a few Skaal in his lifetime, but Embry was the smartest so far. It would be a pleasure to work with him.
"Aye, I suppose."
There was tension there, Hrongar wished to change the subject, and the perfect moment happened when Elgrim, Embry's husky picked up some tools and handed them to Embry.
"That's a mighty smart dog you have there."
Embry looked at Hrongar, then back at Elgrim who was resting against the forge. He loved the heat from the forge, it brought Elgrim to sleep most of the time.
"I'm proud to say I trained him myself. Took a while."

Viareth was sneaking trough the wildernis when she found an good looking estate. She hide inside an bush to spy the movement of the people there. She waited till midnight and take further actions then
When it was midnight she spoke softly to herself
Well well well, this could become a nice loot tonight
she sneaked from bush to tree and back to an bush until she reached the door to the basement of the house. she got out a few lockpicks and start cracking the door, after a few seconds she got inside and crouched trough the basement, grabbing several valuable gems andsmall weapons. when she entered te main floor she got more stealthy, she didn't saw anyone and when entering a room she closed the door behind her. when she entered a sort of storage room she started searching in a crate, but while searching she heard the door squeek but she was too late already ..

Modyn Seran was practicing his conjuration when he heard the footsteps downstairs, they alerted him to check it out, but told his dog to go protect the basement entrance. Before entering, he had conjured up a Xivilai, and they both entered the basement. He took one look at the Wood Elf girl, and grunted.
"Lady, if you run, you will be killed swiftly. If you stay and explain yourself, you may survive this encounter. Follow me."

Viareth sighed, she didn't expected this, but yea she got nothing to lose if she told the man what she was doing, she would die if she didn't and maybe she would survive if she told the truth, so she rubbed on of her legs on the floor from the left to the right, blushed and smilled with the greatest smile she had
Well, I was kinda doing a little shopping, but I guessed this home was Imperial, so yea sorry. dont be mad please
she giggled and handed over the stolen stuff but tryed to left a golden Ruby rings inside her pocked.
then she laughed again and asked
you won't kill me won't you? please sir, we both Elves, that must mean something doesn;t it sooo uhm where are you taking me sir

Modyn paced back and forth, his Xivilai returning to the Deadlands, the plane of Oblivion that Mehrunes Dagon rules over, the same plane that contains the Xivilai.
"Well, I was kinda doing a little shopping, but I guessed this home was Imperial, so yea sorry. dont be mad please"
"You call thieving shopping? If I were not so elderly, I would have cut you down where you stand. Consider yourself lucky, Bosmer."
Modyn greedily snatched the stolen items, like it were a child with a toy taken by his parents. Except these toys cost hundreds of Septims. He was fuming with the woman's behaviour of this situation, treating it like it was a joke.
"you won't kill me won't you? please sir, we both Elves, that must mean something doesn;t it sooo uhm where are you taking me sir"
"Bosmer, I have no idea as yet, you may come out of this alive, you may be swiftly killed. Our Elven heritage is from two different races, Dark Elf, and Wood Elf. I hold respect for your race, but none for you. I would be ashamed of you. As for your location, it would be the dungeons. Of which is located on the ground floor."
Modyn indeed had no idea what to do with his prisoner, on one hand, he wished to kill her for stealing his property, but on the other, he felt pity for her, having to steal to survive. In the mean time, he would lock her up in the cell, which had it's own room off of Modyn's study on the ground floor.
As they walked through the study, it had large bookshelves, with them being stocked completely, the only books off of the shelves were the complete 'Real Barenziah' series by Plitinius Mero, he enjoyed the story of Barenziah more thoroughly then the Biography of Barenziah series by the Imperial Scribe Stern Gamboge, both of which he has read multiple times, each time enjoying it.
He opened the double wooden door to the dungeon, and brought her inside, then opened the cell door, and instructed her in, as a true captive, she would be locked up. Modyn, unsure on if this woman would be talented in the arts of Alteration, more specifically, the Telekinesis spell, moved the key to his study, then walked back in, and sat on a stool.
"I am Modyn Seran, Dwemer Scholar, Master of Conjuration. I also run this village, Sau av Morae, rough Dwemer translation 'People of Knowledge'. I have studied with almost every magical school there is in Tamriel. I make a living by trade. Who are you and what do you do for a living?"
He said all this with a sense of pride, and hell, he deserves it, 600 odd years of school. His expression turned sour at the last sentence though.

Viareth smiled and opened her arms like she was selling something

She closed her arm again and smiled

then she winked and waited for what would be next

Modyn was quite displeased at her responses, he had hoped she would beg for freedom, like the scum of Nirn should. This lady however was very confident in being released. Modyn had finally come up with a decision, he would release her, for now.

"You treat this as a joke! You kill, thieve and lie your way through life. I should kill you right now! But no. You. Come with me, I'm gonna show you the values of hard work."
He opened the cell door and waited for the response from the woman.

Viareth was kind of out of her element with being released, although she played like she was confident she really thought she would be in here for ages
"You treat this as a joke! You kill, thieve and lie your way through life. I should kill you right now! But no. You. Come with me, I'm gonna show you the values of hard work."
ughh work. well as long as I don't have to mop floors and rub you'r golden statue's im fine, least I can do for being released after all, show me the way then. But its kinda sort of night, don't I have to wait for the morning? its your call of course, but I guess you might be sleepy, Old timer
she playfully poked him and laughed then she followed him towards he would take her

Modyn had just realised that it was indeed night time, and that showing her around the village would have to wait until the morning, so Modyn had abruptly turned around and forwarded back to the cell, and put Viareth in, and locked her inside the cell. Then he forwarded to his own bedroom, and laid down for the night.
Embry, finally finishing the Elven Sword, had gone to bed in the spare room in Hrongar's house, from what he's seen so far, the village is fair, hard working, and kind. Even to outsiders.

Viareth was done telling the man that it was midnightand he turned around immidiatly, she was put back in jail and locked up. she was confused for a second. one moment she was free, and the other she was locked up again. she shook up her shoulders and made it as comfy as it could on the jail bunk bed, and slept rather good that night.

Dunaar trudged along the road to what looked like a village, and a huge manor with big walls around them. He lent down whilst walking to scratch his big Wolfhound behind the ear. "Well Mal, looks like we got lucky tonight" He admired the small village as he walked through it, enjoying the rustic simplicity, and comforting quiet of the place. The few people that were on the street at night gave him strange looks, but Dunaar was used to it, he found it amusing how people had to crane their necks upwards to actually look him in the eye.
He found what he assumed was to inn, and stooped to get in the door. He paused by the large fire place to warm his hands. He unslung his pack and left with Mal, who had settled down by the fire, head resting in his paws. Dunaar took his coin-purse out of his pack and walked over to the bar-counter.
"Good evening, my name is Dunaar, and that's my dog Mal, we'd like to stay the night, a single room would do us."

Modyn on his way to bed, was stopped by Merilar, who accidentally tripped him over, and she came tumbling down with him. She bit her lower lip, and waited for his response.
"By Azura. Merilar, don't pull that on me. Frail old men can't withstand falls, Muthsera."
"I know, Modyn. I know. It won't happen again......sera."
Modyn and Merilar awkwardly got up, and Modyn was pinned to the wall. Merilar used to moment to her advantage, and laid a kiss upon the man's lips. She smirked at him, and walked away, back to her room. Modyn was still open jawed, and walked back to his room, still confused.
The Innkeeper eyed Dunaar, but still respectful. They didn't get too many Orcs around these parts, and it was usually not a pleasurable experience.
"Welcome to Sau av Morae, Dunaar. It's fifteen septims a night. Do you need anything else? In the morning, I suggest you go up to the big house, Modyn likes to keep track of visitors."

Dunaar talked as he counted out the money.
"No, I won't need anything else, thank you. And I will make sure to see...Modyn was it? Anyway, goodnight"
Dunaar returned to the fire, picked up his pack and poked Mal in the ribs. The Wolfhound got up, giving an unhappy grumble for being taken away from the warmth. Dunaar let them both into the room, where he pulled a tatty bear skin out of his pack, he unrolled it on the floor. Mal walked over to it, sniffed it, walked in circles on it a few times, then collapsed and fell asleep.
Dunaar removed his armour and folded it neatly at the foot of his bed. He put on his cloth trousers and got into bed. He pulled a sheet of paper, a tatty quill and a small pot of ink from his pack, and wrote carefully about his travels from the past few weeks.
He had spent a long time before he left discussing with his Uncle-in-law how to stay in contact with his sons. Eventually they agreed on a drop-off point for letters in a small town near the mountains. A Shaal hunter would go and collect any letters there once a month. He finished his letter, placed it on the small bed-side table to dry, then blew out the candle and lay down. He fingered his necklace for a while, then whispered "Malacath, watch over Mellah, wherever she is now" the fell asleep, adding his light snore to Mal's rumbling.

The sun was shining again, another beautiful day in Sau av Morae. Modyn's first order of business was talking to the new traveller. Modyn walked out of his estate, the village was bustling as usual. Modyn walked through the path, and entered the Inn. He nodded at the Innkeeper, and asked which room the new person was in. Modyn walked up to the door, and knocked on it.
Merilar was just waking up. She sat up in the bed, and looked around. She got out, and darted to her dresser, and got in her undergarments, then her robe. Merilar thought of what Modyn was doing in the dungeon. She walked out, and walked into the dungeon, and looked confused at the Bosmer woman.
"What are you doing in here"
