Personality: Merilar is a kind, caring, compassionate and loving person, she likes to help people, and often puts other's needs before her own. Merilar, while nice and kind, is a fierce combatant, and makes a good fight, due to her natural ability in the arts of Destruction.



Merilar Velothi, of the lesser known Velothi family, was a Skyrim girl, her parents both Dark Elves. Her Dunmer blood laying down the foundations for her magical talent. Merilar's mother wanted her to be a mage, and her father wanted her to be a great warrior, like the ones from the stories that he read to her. To compromise, Merilar's decision was to learn magic, and also learn the art of the sword. The combination allowed her to be what is known as a battlemage, a mixture of warrior and wizard.

Merilar was taught at the College of Winterhold, and spent 15 years of her life there, from the age of 20, to 35. After that, she proceeded to spend time with the Companions of Whiterun, further honing her skills of the sword. She became a bodyguard after that, protecting the many nobles that required her services. Merilar became rather renowned in Skyrim, becoming very proficient, and while she was ahead in the game, left while she could. Afterwards, the thought of Conjuration appealed to her, and started searching for a private scholar. This is what brought her upon Modyn Seran's doorstep. She was attacked by a group of Bandits, and she ran to his estate, and pleaded for help. Modyn came out, and scared the bandits away, and medicated Merilar back to health. She saw potential in the estate, and convinced Modyn to turn it into a village, and Merilar became the battlemage of Sau av Morae. She was given her own house as a symbol of trust. Merilar likes to visit Modyn daily, and likes to keep up with the going-ons of the village.

Merilar invited her parents to stay at Sau av Morae, but kindly denied, saying their place is in Morrowind, where they should stay. Merilar makes a visit every year, and her parents have once visited Sau av Morae.
