So, I'm fairly certain that I'll have my laptop back soon *crosses fingers* and I really miss playing D&D. Now while I am a relatively unexperienced DM, I would like to think I'm very good at weaving stories and dealing with branching paths.
So, this is an interest check for anyone that might be interested in a somewhat complicated online D&D game utilizing the Nexus Game Center Board (Where you found this) and Mythweavers character tools.
In edition (see what I did there?) we'll be figuring things out as we go along, using a home brew mixup of D&D 4E and Pathfinder rule books (which you should know if you read the title.)
I'm not looking for many people, and I believe at the least Zen has claimed a spot, so if ask you don't apply if you don't have time for a lengthy and complex game.
Moving on, the campaign will take place directly in the Forgotten Realms Universe, and I'm hoping for a maximum of 4 players (3 slots left at most.) Why such a small group you ask?
For this campaign (and to answer the question I asked myself for you) we will be using a home brew Gestalt system. For those of you unfamiliar with Gestalt systems, it boils down to having two classes at once. Not complicated enough? I'm allowing custom humanoid races and custom classes, assuming they are somewhat balanced. I'll be checking before hand, so don't bother trying to pull one over on me. Lastly, expect this to be a hard mode style game. Gestalt system is required, due to the nature of the campaign and the homebrew rules I will be using.
For the amount of effort this will take, I have no idea, but I would ask you be a pretty active member that can usually check back once a day to take your turn. Hopefully more. If things are moving too slowly we may set up a scheduled day for everyone to be on and move more quickly in a Chatango or IRC channel for the game, using a program, or actual mythweavers boards.
I really don't know. We'll basically be winging this, so expect to deal with that if you want to join. Oh and lastly, this is not a good place to start out your first D&D game for. As I mentioned earlier, we'll work things out as we move forward.
Right then. Sign up (and Zen, give me a complimentary fuck yeah for style.)
