Personality: Amy shows an interest in alien species, particularly the Sangheili and the San'Shyuum. She likes to show respect to everyone, and is a well mannered person. In combat, she doesn't relent though, the UNSC instilled that into her.
Amy August was orphaned, her parents were doctors, and were killed when a man burst into their practice and demanded money. Her parents defied the man, and were killed. As Amy had nowhere else to go, she was sent to an orphanage. She maintained her body well, and was quite strong for an eight year old. When the UNSC came knocking, Amy accepted the offer, to become a SPARTAN-V. She didn't know how brutal the training was.
She was trained to be the ultimate warrior, as were all SPARTANs. Her daily routine was simple, wake up, train, eat, train, eat, train, eat, sleep. She didn't mind it to be honest, but it was still hard work. It pushed her body to the limit, and she came out on top. She was powerful enough to survive the augmentation process, and was a verified SPARTAN-V. She showed an interest in alien species, studying them. The UNSC saw this, and asked if she wanted to participate in a cross-species training program. She accepted, and once her UNSC training was finished, she was shipped off to the Graceful Eminence, as the Eminence was one of the many ships that accepted SPARTANs as part of the training program. She fit in quite well, and she is in her 2nd year of being on the Eminence.
