I mean, I'd like to see a little more as far as personality and history go, but that's mostly just personal preference. I don't see anything wrong with it as is.
Except for the rank. I'm not sure if we're using Naval ranks for SPARTANs or Army/Marine ones. Maybe somebody else can shed a little more light on that?
Pending clarification on the rank issue, you can consider yourself halfway approved.

I'm pretty sure the rank is accurate, as The Master Chief was only a Petty Officer.

John's a Master Chief Petty Officer, but the SPARTAN program has since grown to more than just a Naval Special Warfare project. It's a full-on military branch now.
Combine that with the fact that half our SPARTANs possess Marine ranks... and I don't know what to think.
I don't really think it's an issue. Dominic looks approvable either way. I was more pointing it out to try and goad the other mods into offering input c:

I had him with a Marine rank, but in the thread he's joining, SPARTANS use Navy ranks.
Please direct all questions to Sal, it's his thread.

Latest update on the Navy-versus-Marine-hierarchy thing: I talked to Immortal and he says all SPARTANs should be using Marine ranks. So, now that we've got that cleared up, we'll have to make everyone fix their characters' ranks at some point to conform to the standard. Because SPARTANs are SPARTANs and thus fall into that rank hierarchy, regardless of whether or not they're cross-training on a Covenant ship.
So I'd recommend switching him over to like Sergeant or something? I'm pretty sure that's the direct equivalent of PO2.
Do that quick fix and I guess maybe you'll be halfway approved again even though I gave that to you like a week ago?
