Why am I diarrhoea?

I was hoping we could use that land as a Human and Near-Human kingdom - led primarily by Elves. Y'know, Humans, Elves, Dwarves.

To make them not a perfect ally for the Horde. As the Horde quite like their elfsies.

Province number: 83
Name: Valnaris
Terrain: Like it’s neighbouring Nephallia, Valnaris is primarily flat, rolling plains.It is however, quite contrasted with Naphallia, as the Valnaris army can be found maintaining the law throughout, especially on it’s borders. Farmland is a constant sight in the country side, many vineyards and pastures can be found in most of the province regions. Market towns are a common sight further in the country, but on it’s borders sit a lot of fortifications. Osyenmel, the capital is a coastal city, and many lighthouses sit on rocks directing the constant stream of ships in the Inner Sea, away from the hazards of Nephalia
Army: Valnaris’s standing army is possibly larger than expected, and renowned for solely being peace keepers. Though it is made up of various soldiers from the other provinces in the Ravenheart Confederacy, the majority of Valnaris’s army is made up of Sun Elves, who come dressed in bright, golden coloured shining armour and long peach-coloured cloaks. The majority of the Sun Elves come armed with a long sword and shield, though some come with bows and enchanted arrows. Though the Valnaris military has never seen an actual war, given the fact that the Ravenheart Confederacy usually fights it’s battles for them, every soldier in the Valnaris military are experienced, all Sun Elf soldiers are required to serve in the Confederacy’s army, before serving Valnaris.

Valnaris mounts, always come armoured, and overly dressy, some armours come encrusted with jewels. Whether this is a statement of wealth, or just to romanticise the military is unclear.


The Valnaris navy, that operates out of the capital, is primarily used to direct ships heading for port in Valnaris, around Nephallia’s mists. Most ships are fast, and small, though there are non-military ships that are used to tow larger ships into harbour that cannot manoeuvre themselves in tight situations. The Valnaris navy is also used to escort key ambassadors to and from Valnaris, and have been seen as far as Stonecrest.
Brief Description: Though it is separated from the main Elven Provinces, Valnaris serves as a diplomatic centre in the lands of Gabriola. The capital city, Osyenmel is known for it’s vast embassy district and its collection of races.
Races: Sun Elves – Sometimes called “gold elves”, are the main keepers of the province of Valnaris. They’re known for their bronze skin, and gold, copper and black hair. They are noticeably stronger than most Elves, though they do seem more brittle. Given this weakness, Sun Elves tend to wear more armour, than most Elf species, which in turn has affected the quality of their armouries. As such, most Sun Elves had armour of significant quality.

Other Races – many other races in Valnaris can be found throughout the land, but particularly so in the gigantic city of Osyenmel, though most are usually only passing through.
People of Importance:
Marquis Jeardra – Currently sits on the “throne” of Valnaris, given the fact that Valnaris is more of a colony than a kingdom; a Marquis sits in charge of the province’s day to day business answering to higher authorities. Marquis Jeardra got elected, after ten years of overseeing the embassy district.

Places of Interest:
Osyenmel – The Gigantic capital of Valnaris, sits on the coast, with sprawling urban areas and a large embassy district surrounding the Confederate palace, where the marquis sits.

Fort Keathemar – Situated on the border with Nephalia, Fort Keathemar organises raids into the province to deal with zombies that plague Valnaris’ border. In charge is an aging, embittered commander, who believes that Nephalia needs to be purged
Valnaris Lighthouses – Dotted about the Inner Sea close to Valnaris, these large lighthouses serve as directional beacons towards Osyenmel, and the various other ports.

Province number: 95
Name: Asannor
Terrain: Asannor is largely flat, with a few mountain ranges dotted about the province. It is densely forested, particularly to the northern and eastern borders. It shares a Great Forest known, to the wood elves as Melhesari, with the neighbouring province of Castien. The cities in Asannor are large, and primarily made of stone, this was originally a ploy to appease the rebellious Wood Elves, who had been angered with the loss of trees in Melhesari, but has now become part of the trend. Most stone is mined by the humans, who live in mountain villages, or imported from Dwarves and Goblins.

Army: The Asannor army has a decently sized standing army. Though the army is mostly made up of Sun Elves, Wood Elves do serve in the Asannor army. A pact drawn up by the fourth Ravenheart Emperor, dictates that the Wood Elves must always answer to the call of the Sun Elves, should they ever need it. As such, in times of need, legions of Wood Elves leave the forest and join up, knowing that should the Sun Elves vanish, their forest would no longer be protected.

Like the Valnaris, the Sun Elves of Asannor are known for their flashy-over the top armour, as symbol and status are particularly important to the Sun Elves. They come with armoured mounts, usually horses. Unlike the Valnaris peace keepers, however, their arsenal is a lot more varied. Sun Elf cavalry can come in three types; Lancers, Chariots and Mounted Archers. The Lancers are known for their long pole arms, when used in a wedge-formation charge, these pole arms rip through the enemy as if they were made out of paper. Chariot cavalry, come on gilded chariots, and usually contain three people. One controls the reigns, and whilst the other two attack from the chariot, either with bows, pole arms or swords. Lastly, the mounted archers are generally light cavalry used as distractions, normally used in ambushes, or to pick off the enemy commanders.

Though Sun Elves, are usually not too keen on the use of magic, an exception has arrived in recent times. Elemental archer brigades have found their way into the army. They are trained in the use of Sun Bows, which are fired with energy, removing the need of arrows. This energy can be channelled into the various elements, though fire is usually the element of choice.
Brief Description: The Ravenheart Confederacy’s capital Province, Asannor is the pride of the confederacy. In it’s past, Asannor was troubled with wood elf rebellions in response to the rapid Sun Elf expansion and the Human use of wood for fuel. After a long and drawn out war, however, the fourth Emperor of the Confederacy drew up alliances with the Wood Elves, and secured a protected status for the Melhesari forest. Subsequently, the Wood Elf rebellions ceased in the province, over the years this pact began influencing the Sun Elf culture, and their buildings turned from wood, to stone. Now today it sits at the heart of the Ravenheart Confederacy, keeping the Emperor and his family safe from harm. It works with it’s neighbouring provinces, keeping a steady economy.
Races:
Sun Elf – Sometimes referred to as “Gold Elves”, Sun Elves are the majority racial group in Asannor, making up forty percent of the population. They’re known for their bronze skin, and gold, copper and black hair. They are noticeably stronger than most Elves, though they do seem more brittle. Given this weakness, Sun Elves tend to wear more armour, than most Elf species, which in turn has affected the quality of their armouries. As such, most Sun Elves had armour of significant quality.
Wood Elf – The Wood Elves of Asannor are largely more protective of their forest, Melhesari, than most other wood elves. As they make up thirty percent of the population of Asannor, the have presented quite the threat to the Sun Elf population, though in recent times and due to the protected status of Melhesari, their moods have calmed down. Now they stand side by side with the Sun Elves in the Asannor armies. Their opinion of humans has softened too, in recent times. The human’s love of wood fires, had led to a reduction in trees in their forest, but other options of fuel were presented to the humans, in order to maintain the peace and as such, the humans began mending bridges with the Wood Elves.
Humans – An immigrant species to Asannor, who had been hired to build the cities and towns of said province. Surprisingly these employees took a fancy to Elven lifestyle, and setting in the province. Some took to Elven culture, whilst others, although fascinated with the Elves, chose to retain their culture, and created their own human settlements elsewhere in the province, namely in the mountains, where they set up mines, to supply the cities with metal and stone. Their numbers now equal twenty percent of the population (the last ten percent is made up of various other races who have immigrated into the province)
People of Importance:
Emperor Aywin Ravenheart – Current, and tenth Emperor of the Elven Confederacy, though very young, he is revered by many throughout the confederacy. Outwardly he seems quite charming, and hides behind his inexperienced, though those who have met him get a distinct feeling that he is far more intelligent than he allows people to see.
Places of Interest:
Ollion – The capital city of Asannor, made out of stone, and very little wood. Here lies the Ravenheart Palace, where the Emperor primarily lives. Due to the restrictions on expansion, the Elves had begun building up, rather than out, and now very tall buildings are a common sight in the capital. Though the city itself is walled, many smaller villages surround the outside of the city, which usually serve as a stop gap, before making it inside, and behind the stone gates.

Melhesari – The Great Forest in the east of the Province, that leaks into the neighbouring Castien province. It has many Wood Elf settlements hidden in it’s dense undergrowth and is full of creatures ranging from wolves, to bears, to the rumoured fairies.
Ravenheart Palace – Home to the Emperor and practically a city in itself. It’s heavily fortified, with it’s own Barracks, for it’s city guard. There are many hidden rooms and passages in this palace, secrets only known to a select few.

Province number: 96
Name: Castien
Terrain:
Castien’s terrain is mostly hilly forests, denser near the heart of the Melhesari Forest, which leaks into the neighbouring Asannor. Mountains are common, but infrequent in Castien, though in the east, lays a large mountain range that almost spans a line between the northern and southern borders, which give way to low lying swamps in the remaining east portion of the province. Wood Elf cities are usually built either on trees or in trees, this varies, depending on the city, town or village, and the native species.

Army: Though the Wood Elf army is fantastic at fighting guerrilla wars, they have been known to fight on the open battlefield with quite some skill. Wood Elf make great hunters or assassins, as their sneaking skills are second only to the likes of ninja. When they’re put in a forest however, their skills are virtually unmatched. They know how to move silently, and can track any creature no matter where they hide.

Accompanying the Wood Elves are the Treants, who are plant-like creatures, who double the number of any Wood Elf army, due to the fact that they have a one to one population with each other. Treant soldiers can come in many forms. Some are soldiers, and act like regular foot soldiers, and then some become beasts, that carry supplies, or act as shock troops or cavalry. Though they dislike fire, this is by no means a weakness, as they are never dry. As the Treant say, “A dry Treant is a dead Treant” as such, they are usually too moist to be lit on fire, unless they have been without water for some time.

Brief Description: Castien is home to the majority of the Wood Elves in the Ravenheart Confederacy. Most if not all Wood Elves bloodlines can be traced back to the forest, though some bloodlines are weaker than others, for whatever reason. Though Castien is the province’s official name, as dictated by the Sun Elves of Asannor, the Wood Elves tend to refer to Castien as Melhesari. This is due to the amount of land that the forest inhabits. Though they had been opposed to the Sun Elves, and had even fought with them for many years, the Wood Elves have come to appreciate their “fanciful” neighbours, and have allowed some to settle in the province.

Elven culture is the biggest here, which is intertwined with nature, and more importantly, the Treants. The Treants are intertwined with the Wood Elves like roots on a tree. They live almost identical lives. Each relationship between elf and Treant is different. Some see it as a blessing, and some see it as a curse. Though their lives are intertwined, one or the other can die, before each other and although this can be a traumatic event, emotionally and physically some do live to have full lives afterwards. As Treants grow and become immobile, due to the weight of themselves, the plant their roots and slowly become trees.

Races:
Wood Elf – The Wood Elves of Castien, have at least double the population of Wood Elves in Assanor. These Wood Elves are quite similar to their usual stereotype, although they are quite a lot more aggressive and wrathful when it comes to their forest. That being said they’ve calmed in recent years, and no longer execute people for chopping down trees without being ordered to do so. The Wood Elves of Castien, have a very close bond to their Treant partners.
Treant – Treants are wood elemental beings born as saplings from the Great Tree. They’re intelligent, and can grow. Their whole lives are influenced by the Wood Elf partners, who are linked to them with the very soul. The Wood Elf children of the Melehsari forest, are given a Treant sapling from birth, both are supposed to guide each other as they grow. The way both Elf and Treant grow, defines what the Treant becomes. Some Treants become soldiers, some priests, some become godesses and beasts and grumpy old hermits, and then some, in very rare circumstances become titans.

Humans – Humans do inhabit the province, in a large number, but most occupy the lands to the east, in swamp villages and mountain towns, with very few cities. Though they are spread out, mining is the biggest source of wealth for the humans, and some are very wealthy.
Sun Elf – Sometimes referred to as “Gold Elves”, they hail from Assanor. However unlike Asannor, the Sun Elves in this province are a clear minority, barely making up five per cent of the population.

People of Importance:
Bastion Dustbrook – A veteran general from the war with Assanor’s Sun Elves, though his is somewhat bitter over the war, he no doubt is happy that it was over. He stands over the armies of Castien, keeping a watchful eye to the south.
Head Councillor Eralriel Rivermire – Current head of the Wood Elf council. An elderly Wood Elf, whose age even escapes her. Though she seems frail, she is a devious and manipulative woman, who hides her intelligence and her inner strength to fool her enemies.
Enilan – One of six Treant Titans. His roots have firmly planted him in the ground, and he has sunk below the surface over time, so now all that his head is sticking out of the ground. He “stands” facing the border with Albion, constantly watching over the lands of Castien, ready to fight his way out of the earth.

Places of Interest:
The Great Tree – One of the largest and most sacred of trees in Castien, It sits at the heart of a clearing in the Melehsari Forest. Priests live in it’s branches, where they collect saplings for the young. The Great Tree is considered to be the elder Treant god, who was the first tree to grow in the forest, and is the source of all life from then on. Though the Wood elves accept that the Great Tree has not caused all life, they do however accept the idea that the Great Tree created the forest, and for that they are grateful.

Shrine of Irwuin – The site of the Treant Goddess Irwuin, said to be thousands of years old and steadily growing into the next “Great Tree”. Irwuin was said to have been a beautiful Treant back when she was still mobile, though most of her features have gone, her feminine form can still be seen today. Though Irwuin is silent, it is said that she will sometimes wisper blessings to those that are in need of it.

Alright! There's a hankering for this to be done soon (before Immortal finishes his Evils) so can those who have reserved provinces and not done anything with them do some work on them please?
