Originally founded by a historian who studied pre-war history books who worked for the royals, the Knights Anglorum was a small force of soldiers within the royals that was requisitioned. They were given the opportunity of use by this historian in order to track down pre-war books that showed to be useful in strategies but this caused a rift to start forming as the historian began to take a more regimented training approach on his soldiers given and applying ancient governing systems. They slowly became more of an elite force before they left the main hierarchy of the royals in order to pursue their own course of action and the historian declared himself "Grand Master" and the hunt for more pre-war books revealed the resources needed to craft certain medievil equipment originally designed to be used in pre-war reenactment
The grand master eventually reorganized their organisation again to fit that of a nightly order but the hunt for pre-war books became less of a priority until the historian was killed by a force within the body of the knights and lead to a Coup De'etat and Grand master Lucien York assumed control leading to a purely military focus
Since then the Chapters have been devoted fanatically to the royals and the reinstatement of the royal family, however they have no intention of stopping there and intend to try and unify the whole of Britain under their rule once again via the usage of complicated pre-war strategies and tactics earning them a reputation of being cunning warriors although largely under supplied and originally just a search and recover party.
