Personality: Laura is an adventerous soul. She enjoys the wilds and the hunt more then inns and feasts. She isn't savage however, she'd just rather not be the civilized woman that she should be.
Lauravenya's mother was a lowly servant to a Nord nobleman, the nobleman began to fall for his servant, and after their child was born, the nobleman was confronted by his wife, and Lauravenya's mother had to be forced out of the household. Her father still however supported them, guilty for his forced decision. The family had difficulty surviving, and at a young age, Lauravenya had to learn to use a bow, for the survival of their family. It took a long time, but she was finally competent. Her first kill was a fox that made the mistake of crossing bold 10 year old Lauravenya.
Lauravenya's most profitable hunt was suprisingly against a lone wolf. After taking the arrow, it limped into a cave quite a distance away. The wolf, tired and near dead, slumped against the cave wall, accepting defeat. Nearby, there was a chest. It contained a necklace, and a great deal of gold. They lived in luxury that night.
Lauravenya's father had sent a letter to her, which invited her to live with him at the castle, as the second heir to the family. she did not know the reason until she arrived: Her father's bride was not fit to give birth, and only after one son. He needed more heirs, but he still loved his wife. The solution was Lauravenya.
Lauravenya was a great bowwoman, and spend more time outside the long-standing walls of Windhelm and her father's manor then she did in. So it came as a shock when she was betrothed to Jon of the House Meadswill at age 19, funded by her father. It took quite a while to organize, and it seemed that every setback that could happen did. Along the way, she conveniently got lost, stopping in every inn and town possible. She fought, and fought, but it is inevitable.
