Halo Horror thing

So the plan is to have a science ship of moderate size currently tasked with one of the major fleets, commandeered by the top UNSC brass for generic "weapons testing". This ship gets, somehow, infested with the flood, but as it isn't a ship of major importance in the fleet when is is asked to check in and doesn't no alarms are raised and it is left alone. During this time the flood has infested most, if not all, of the ship. Sooner or later the fleet starts to get suspicious that the ship isn't any hails or communicating at all for that matter. A security team gets sent over but goes dark almost immediately after touch down. So another team is sent over (the characters)... That's all I got for the moment story wise.

I was hoping for at least 4 people to join in but the more the merrier. The characters wouldn't have to be human either, heck they could be escaped human and Sangheili test subjects that meet up with the party if people join late. You don't have to feel obliged to ride it out to the end, if you feel that it is time for your character to die or you just want to leave for... reasons, then you could always kill your character dramatically (I would like to know if you are (unless its going to be really dramatic))
You might have to get used to lone wolfing it too as the flood will stop at nothing to, split you up and consume your matter into the collective of mass growing through the ship like a malignant tumor.

This would be the first thread that I would be planning so any and all the help would be welcomed and I am up for changing almost anything as I am sure that you people can come up with a heck tone more stuff than I could, higher quality too.

If anyone wants to rp as the flood or help rp it then by all means ask me as I have had no experience gm'ing, although I am willing to try.
