Kaiden sighed as he strapped on his homemade armor once more and headed to the gate of Freeside. As he walked down the streets with his brush gun in hand. The scope was off considering it would be of no use if some of the local...wildlife decided to take a chance on an attack. The streets were littered with junk and junkies that were either dead or passed out...it was hard to tell without getting to close. While a lot of the chem users got attention from the Followers a lot of them either relapsed or refused help. Along with that a lot more people were starting to flow into Freeside, the streets were filled with junkies and the houses were all inhabited...well at least the ones that could be lived in. The young male shook his head and continued to walk as he past by the locals. He always had an uneasy feeling while walking the streets of Freeside. Then again why shouldn't he? The number one reason off death in Freeside was due to the violence that ran wild on the streets and most people wouldn't even think of helping the victims of these assaults.
Reaching the gate he sighed once more. Not a single person was there besides the hired guns that were practically the only justice of the dangerous community. How was he suppose to make money if the people who hired him couldn't even be ready before him. However this wasn't going to send him home, Kaiden leaned against the chain link fence that covered the concrete wall. As he waited his eyes gazed up into the blue sky, he couldn't help but think he was getting nowhere with his work. He had been in Freeside for quite sometime now. Kaiden was stuck in a rut, one that would no doubt end badly if he didn't change. Brushing the thought off Kaiden chuckled as he thought about his where he was hired to transport the caravan. New Reno...he was heading back to the place he had pulled off his favorite job so far, his casino score. Where were his crew members now? He thought to himself...probably dead by now. After all Kaiden had only lasted this long because of luck alone.
