Grab your sword guns, and load up on dust because the RWBY RP is coming to the Nexus, as it stands, Immortalundeath, and myself are looking for more people to participate, so this will be primarily and interest check and a place to ask any questions you need before we kick start this thing, so please comment below if you're interested.
we'll get into more rules later, but for now please keep in mind for our RP we will begin at beacon academy, and therefore will need teams of huntsmen and huntresses, so we are hoping to find people in groups of four, and currently we have two so if you'd like to try and find team mates to play along with then grab our friends on the nexus and jump in (This thread will help greatly in organizing that.

RWBY (pronounced Ruby) is an acronym consisting of the first letter of four teammates first names, and serves as the title of a show that follows the story of these teammates (and others). The show itself is a 3D animated web-series created by RoosterTeeth (and the writers behind Red vs Blue, the longest running and most successful web series on the internet,) which has anime-influences and characters influenced by fairy tales and historical legends (Little Red Riding Hood, Achilles, Beauty and the Beast, and even Nyan Cat).
The show currently has 3 volumes (seasons), and is slated to receive a fourth this fall. It also has a video game RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, and a spin-off show, RWBY Chibi. The show itself has received two Best Animated Series awards.

You guys got me all excited now. I love RWBY to bits, been a devoted follower since I saw the trailers during Red vs. Blue! I've got a perfect idea for a character and I can't WAIT to start Roleplay! :D I used to be part of a RWBY Roleplay site, but their combat rules were crap, sadly, so I left. Yes, I too am excited, and this appears to be enough people to get the starting phases going, of course anyone can still throw there name in the hat, as we now have 5 players. Though AJ and I will work on the story planning the rules and the character sheet, and hopefully have all of that information up soon, so feel free to begin work on general outlines for your characters if you would like, but please be aware there will be some fairly basic rules which may require parts of your character to change (And before you get too carried away with your character one very basic rule that we will be upholding is summed up pretty well here ---> rwby.wikia.com/wiki/Color_Naming_Rule ) And Steele, if you have yet to watch the show I recommend you do that before joining XD |

Time to dust (hehehehe) off that character I started creating when we were chucking ideas around to start a thread like this way back when. I'm assuming we're allowed *some* amount of un-realism in our character's physical prowess, considering the anime-based nature of the show and the complete ignorance of most physics during fight scenes etc.
Also if we're allowed to reserve colours I would like to reserve grey.
