With the Galactic Map above you can get a general idea of what locations are controlled by which faction. Areas of space in the natural blue of the map without a color overlay are where no galactic jurisdiction currently presides, or is where secretive factions have made their headquarters. The color representing each galactic faction is as follows. - Orange - The New Republic
- Brown - The Trade Federation
- Red - The Sith Empire
- Black - The Imperial Remnant
- Grey - Mandalorian Space
- Yellow - Corporate Sector
- Green - The Centrality
- Teal - The Tion Hegemony
- Tan - Hutt Space

3630 BBY- Loyalists of the Eternal Empire enter into hiding under the orders of Tenebrae after the destruction of the Eternal Throne. Heading to Tyus, a hidden planet in the Tyus Cluster naturally defended by the multitude of black holes there, the Eternal Empire set about secretly rebuilding the Eternal Fleet while awaiting the prophesized return of Tenebrae to lead them once more.
1430 BBY- The Dark Prophets of Tenebrae depart the Tyus Cluster in search of Tenebrae, creating a secretive order to keep watch and ready for his return. Passed from generation to generation, their true mission is lost over time, eventually leading to schemes to rebuild the Sith Empire of old. In time, offshoots of the Dark Prophets would lead to the rise of well known Sith leaders such as Darth Plageuis and Darth Sidious.
0 ABY- With the start of the Galactic Civil War, the Dark Prophets begin converting the population of Dromund Kaas to their cause, hiding themselves from detection through the use of the force, and beginning the reconstruction of the Sith Empire.
4 ABY- With the death of Jabba the Hutt, his criminal empire crumbles, gang warfare exploding as the Hutt Grand Council is thrown into disarray, fighting amongst themselves for years to come.
5 ABY- The New Republic and the Galactic Empire engage on Jakku, with the Galactic Empire defeated. The Imperial Remnant is pushed out of the Galactic Core, forcing them to the Galactic Northwest Mid Rim. The Imperial Remnant bides their time as they rebuild their forces and armies after the devastating defeat at Jakku. Grand Admiral Thrawn's knowledge became vital as the surviving Imperial Remnant retreated into the unknown regions, off of known hyperlanes.
- With the defeat of the Galactic Empire at Jakku, the planet of Mandalore rebels in force against Imperial occupation. With Clan Kryze and Bo-Katan leading the push with Darksaber in hand, the Mandalorians destroy the Imperial Strongholds on the planet, and Clan Saxon retreats with the Imperial Remnant. Pushing them out once and for all and old traditions renewed by their freedom, the Mandalorians fall to infighting between the clans as the traditionalists and pacifists fight one another over their differing views.
14 ABY- Under the secret guidance of the Supreme Leader Snoke, many of the remnants of the old Galactic Empire’s military break from the Imperial Remnant and are reorganized into the First Order, set on destroying the New Republic. With the pacifist New Republic not taking any direct action, General Leia Organa forms the Resistance to combat the First Order as the two both grow in power.
15 ABY- With the need for ships and soldiers, the Imperial Remnant enters a state of turmoil as the remaining forces vie for control. Moff Vark proclaims himself Warlord of the Empire, and begins to cut down any who dare stand in his way.
- With his true goal realized, Thrawn sends secret communication to the Chiss Ascendancy, to take advantage of the situation. The Chiss Ascendancy while maintaining their secrecy, creates an unsteady allegiance with Warlord Vark, and aids him in the coming civil war.
19 ABY- After a bitter civil war, Moff Vark seizes control of the Moff’s council, and forces the rest of the Imperial Remnant to swear fealty to him. Planning to eventually retake the Galaxy, Moff Vark orders for full scale construction of a new fleet for the empire. Without the Kuat Driveyards to use, Chiss architects begin construction of Imperial Shipyards in Remnant space.
- The Chiss Ascendancy makes use of Warlord Vark's trust, and while still xenophobic, nearly half of the positions of Moff are taken by Chiss admirals and generals. The Chiss Ascendancy continues to steer their plots of domination of the Galaxy, doing their best to steer Warlord Vark towards attacking the rest of the galaxy and further weakening opposition.
21 ABY- The Sith Kingdom grows in strength, silently beginning to rspread from Dromund Kaas. The Supreme Prophet Merilen declares himself the True Sith Emperor, after seeming to be possessed by a strange power. Merilen sends word to the the Eternal Empire on Tyus that Tenebrae has returned.
23 ABY- Under the guidance of the True Sith Emperor Merilen, the Dark Prophets organize themselves into a Sith Council and reclaim the planet of Korriban. Using the harsh world, they begin training cut-throat new apprentices. Meanwhile, Merilen begins the creation of a new Sith army, focusing his training on ground troops. His decision to ignore the need for a fleet is met with scrutiny, though none dare oppose him openly.
33 ABY- The Eternal Empire and the Eternal Fleet return to Dromund Kaas, bringing with them a Star Forge. The Sith Empire begins mass producing ships for their fleet. The influx of Sith Purebloods into the training on Korriban speeds up the process of training new Apprentices. The mix of the Sith and Eternal Empire causes friction however, with the members of the Eternal Empire who hail Merilen as the returned Tenebrae viewed as fanatics.
34 ABY- The Hosnian Cataclysm occurs, as the system is targeted and destroyed by the First Order’s superweapon, the Starkiller. Killing the majority of the New Republic’s political elite, new senators are elected and the New Republic considers its options to prevent such a tragedy happening again.
- After destroying the Starkiller weapon, the Resistance base on D’qar is discovered and the Resistance begins its evacuation. The First Order tracks down the Resistance fleet by tracking their ships through Hyperspace, and the Resistance fleet is effectively wiped out in the Crait system. The sacrifice of Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo destroys much of the remaining First Order fleet as well.
- [It is assumed here that the events of Episode IX occur, at which point Kylo Ren will be converted or killed, and the First Order ‘defeated’. In these events, the remaining important characters that have not yet died off - Rey, Finn, Poe, Leia, Rose, etc. will in some manner either die in the course of defeating them, or otherwise retire by 49 ABY.]
35 ABY- The New Senate is formed, with the capital re-established on Coruscant. The New Republic in light of their near destruction at the hands of the First Order, choose to no longer remain pacifist, instead issuing for the creation of the Grand Army of the New Republic.
- The Kuat Drive-Yards begin construction of newer versions of the Venator-class Star Destroyers and their complements, with the New Republic choosing to avoid the armaments of the Galactic Empire.
- Under orders of the New Republic, Kamino begins the creation of a new clone army, improving on the techniques used before, and with a modification of the inhibitor chips to include a failsafe to prevent a similar catastrophe to what had previously befallen the Galactic Republic.
- With the need for Generals, the New Republic called upon all surviving Jedi to return to rebuild the temple on Coruscant, and train a new order of Jedi. Jaxus Ke’ra, a former Jedi Master, Supreme General, and survivor of Order 66, returns to Coruscant and begins to train volunteer apprentices immediately. The training is much more rapid, combat oriented, and is performed in larger class-style settings then the old Jedi Order. Other survivors of Order 66 return to the New Jedi Order and begin assisting in the training of the Jedi.
36 ABY- The Sith Empire quietly begins to reclaim the surrounding systems, ensuring no word of their presence escapes the decimation as they creep towards Yavin. Their forces begin to swell rapidly as the trainees in their army near completion, and the added systems allow them to use the Star Forge to create more ships.
- Their bid to create a droid army for the New Republic passed over in favor of clones, the Trade Federation begins establishing factories in the outer rim territories no longer under the jurisdiction of the New Republic. Through the use of shell companies in the Corporate Sector, groups like the Zann Consortium and Black Suns begin funding the Trade Federation in return for the 'security droids' they've come to utilize through purchases in the Black Market.
39 ABY- The Mandalorian Clans have largely completed their fighting in a stalemate, with the pacifist, New Mandalorians exiled to Concordia. Over the years, the clans have found new, more lucrative deals than fighting amongst themselves. The Deathwatch, led by Clan Vizsla, is contacted by the Sith Empire, and begins it’s operation under Sith rule. Clan Saxon, having never regained the favor of the other clans who believed them to be traitors, remain with the Imperial Remnant to begin the training of a new group of Imperial Super Commandos. Clan Skirata, with many having clone heritage, were hired to Kamino to help train the new army of clones. With Boba Fett’s death in the Sarlacc, Clan Fett struggled heavily, until eventually joining with Nasrii the Hutt on his conquest. Clan Ordo remains to fight on Mandalore, and while many have tried to claim the title of Mand’alor, none have survived to hold the title for long.
44 ABY- Nasrii the Hutt assaults Nal Hutta with the assistance of Clan Fett and droids purchased from the Trade Federation, occupying Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa. Many Hutt clans abandon their holdings in the system and retreat across Hutt Space. With no one left to challenge his rule, Nasrii the Hutt begins to improve upon his criminal empire.
45 ABY - The First Order returns, their fleet rebuilt with the use of the offshoot Kuat-Entralla Engineering company. The five surviving Knights of Ren used their power to take control of the First Order. The strongest declared themselves Supreme Leader Sloane, while the others take command over the army, navy, special forces, and the training of the future Knights of Ren.
- Having failed to finish off the First Order, the Resistance utilizes the help of some of the less defensive members of the New Republic, who prefer to strike first rather than wait to defend themselves. Using the Mon Calamari Shipyards, the Resistance builds up its own fleet to take the fight to First Order and work outside the jurisdiction of the New Republic. Some of the more impulsive Jedi join them, in order to better combat the looming threat.
46 ABY- The completion of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant is completed, and the training has produced enough Jedi Knights and Masters that the Padawans can be trained on an individual scale. Knights begin their training with the Clone Soldiers they’re intended to command as the New Republic prepares their expected conflict with the First Order. Knights and Masters take on several Padawan’s at a time, as there are still not yet enough skilled knights for the traditional one Padawan, one Master system.
- The Jedi High Council is established, and Grand Master Ke’ra sits on the High Council with a Dozen other High Masters, whom are elected from the pool of Jedi Masters. These High Masters remain on the council until death, retirement, step down, or are voted off the council. Each serve as a High General in the Galactic Army of the New Republic, should the need to lead the armies as in days of old arise.
47 ABY- With the increase in the number of force users, and more harsh conditions in the days of old, several Sith Apprentices and Jedi Padawan’s defect from their masters and go into hiding. Clan Mereel and the Journeyman Protectors of Concord Dawn establish the Mandalorian Knights on the planet. Hiding the force users from their more stringent counterparts, the Mandalorian Knights begin their own style of training, with a focus on neither the Dark or Light side, but on honor above all.
- The battling on Mandalore reaches its end, the aftermath of a battle between Clan Ordo and Clan Kryze reveals a massive undiscovered Beskar deposit on the planet. The aging Bo-Katan is killed as her ship crashes into the surface, her Darksaber lost. Mandal Hypernautics takes claim over the Beskar and immediately begins creating a fleet for the victorious Clan Ordo, who begins preparing their own mercenary forces for the war looming on the horizon. Viz Ordo declares themselves Mand’alor, and claims many of the clans that share her vision of a traditional Mandalorian people. Only Clan Saxon, Vizsla, Fett, and Skirata have ignored the call of the Mand’alor, as the Mandalorian people prepare to join in galactic warfare. Clan Kryze and Ordo work together to try and recover the Darksaber from the wreckage, but the famous Mandalorian sword is never found, believed to have been secreted away by looters.
49 ABY - Present Day- With billions of droids produced by the Trade Federation, the greed of the Federation board grows. Using their droid armies, the Trade Federation have largely subjugated most of the southern galactic rim through blackmail, extortion, and threats of violence. Those who've refused have been met with military power, and the corporation has begun to place heavy taxes on each of the planets now under their control further fueling their war machine. Looking towards wealthier worlds, the Trade Federation finally gains the eye of the New Republic as it begins it's attempts to extort money from planets like Naboo and Malastare.
- The Sith Empire, having finished it’s preparations, finally begins it’s shadow attack and moves towards the Galactic Core, heading straight towards the New Republic controlled sectors. It’s forces led by hardened Sith Warriors, the assault on the New Republic worlds will grow bloody quickly. The Eternal Fleet sits in waiting for the opportune time to reveal itself and crush the enemy forces.
- Having finished his building his fleet and army, Imperial Warlord Vark turns his sight on the planets of the New Republic as well, hoping to strike at them hard before they have time to react. Sending scouts out to the nearby systems, skirmishes between Republic forces and Imperial Scout Troopers arise across the frontlines, worsening the already fragile relations between the Imperial Remnant and New Republic.
- Detecting a disturbance in the Force as full scale war approaches, Grand Master Ke’ra has ordered a full-scale mobilization of the Galactic Army of the New Republic, uncertain what threat he will soon be facing, only that it is coming soon. The newly completed clone forces on Kamino and their Jedi commanders are activated, with the Grand Army preparing to respond to the first signs of attack.
- The Resistance responds to rumors of the First Order aiding the Imperial Remnant, responding more quickly then the New Republic, but in smaller force. Their history of hit and run tactics serve them well, but only serves to further escalate the conflict.
- The First Order does their best to escalate the conflict and turn the uneasy peace between the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic into full scale war. In secret, the First Order has begun construction on a second Starkiller superweapon in a hidden region of the outer rim, with it’s rumored existence making the Resistance all that more aggressive to find and destroy the base before it can be completed.

A long time ago in a Galaxy far, far, away...
The Galaxy eases into an uneasy peace. The Empire has been destroyed, but at an astranomical cost. The planet of Coruscant, seat of the New Republic and New Jedi Order has been devestated. Millions died during the Alliance's siege of the planet, and the attempted counter attack launched by the desperate remnants of the Empire. The Hero's of the Rebellion, Solo, Skywalker, and Organa to name a few, perished during the ill advised party on Endor that ended with fiery debris from the Death Star raining down on the forest world. Now, the New Republic has begun to settle in its place as the Galactic government. All is not well however for the fledgling Republic. The Imperial Remnant lurks on the borders, the Moff Council plotting in the halls of Bastion. The Hutt Cartel had taken the Galactic Instability to drastically expand their influence. Even from within, radical Anti Jedi elements from the now de-funct Rebel Special Forces have taken hold of bases on Hoth and Belsavis, launching strikes on Republic strongholds. Yet all of them merely serve to distract the Jedi from an even greater threat. The so-called 'Kingdom of the Sith' lurks from the ancient home of the Sith, ready to return...
The Hero's of the Rebellion are gone, their tale is over. The Galaxy needs new Hero's. Prepare yourself for the adventure of a lifetime.
And trade negotiations.

The Mandalorian Clans Unlike many of the other factions in the Galaxy, the Mandalorian Clans are often divided among themselves, and by the end of 49 ABY this fact hasn’t changed all that much. War has almost always been a source of pride for the Mandalorians, and this warlike nature has kept them from truly ever establishing a centralized government. However, even the most warlike people have the need for a General, and so to the Mandalorians have often followed a leader known as a Mand’alor. In the present day of 49 ABY, the Mandalorians have finally recovered from the tumultuous history of their recent years. Their planet had been subjugated by the Galactic Empire during its rise to power, and gained their freedom alongside many other planets when the Galactic Empire met its end. The Mandalorians fought amongst themselves, exiling the pacifist New Mandalorians to the moon Concordia as the pacifists had once done to Mandalorian warriors. The allegiances that had once tied clans together as houses were dissolved, and fighting in the Mandalorian sector lessened, though larger clans such as Clan Kryze and Clan Ordo still vied for control. Many Mandalorians, who served as mercenaries and bounty hunters, had returned to their clans to participate in the struggle, leading to a galaxy wide rise in crime rates in the decades since the Empires fall with such a large drop in reliable bounty hunters. Clan OrdoAs the fighting continued, Clan Ordo, led by the war veteran Viz Ordo, eventually gained the upper hand. Adding to their success, Clan Ordo eventually discovered a large, previously unknown Beskar deposit on the surface of their home planet of Mandalore, adding to their already continued success. This discovery, paired with victory in battles, eventually let to Viz Ordo claiming the title of Mand’alor. Giving the Beskar deposit to the companies of the planet, Mandal Hypernautics, MandalMotors, and MandalTech began mass producing ships and equipment for the Mandalorians with the Beskar. Recognizing the approaching conflict, the newly proclaimed Mandalore the Resurgent set out the call for the other Mandalorian Clans to rejoin her and prepare for war. Planning to use her developing fleet for the battles to come, Mandalore the Resurgent has not yet made a decision on which side to join. With her history as a mercenary however, it’s likely that her loyalty, and that of the Mandalorian people and fleet will go to the highest bidder. The New Mandalorians and Clan KryzeWhile technically in New Republic controlled space, the planet of Mandalore does not truly hold allegiance with the New Republic. The same cannot be said of Concordia however, where the New Mandalorians reside. Having defeated the Death Watch once before with the help of the Republic, the New Mandalorians gained control of the planet and had a time of unprecedented peace on Mandalore, until the inevitable rise of the Galactic Empire. Their pacifist ways proved to be their undoing, pushing many Mandalorians back into the warlike traditions of the past. This shift was not to be true for all of the New Mandalorians however, with the resurgent Clan Kryze holding fast. When the Mandalorian people liberated themselves during the Galactic Empire’s downfall, the leadership of Bo-Katan proved invaluable. While fighting for peace long after, the aging Bo-Katan's ship crashed into the surface of Mandalore, bringing down a mountain with it and revealing a massive undiscovered Beskar deposit. Their battle finished, Clan Kryze stepped back, and now serves as protectors of both Mandalore and Concordia, most choosing to defend their home rather then participate in the coming wars. While the New Mandalorians had mostly completely dissolved by the time of the Empire's fall, the other clans allowed the New Mandalorians to live in peace on the moon of Concordia. There, they’ve been able to mostly find the peace they were looking for, with occasional raids led by other clans. While permitted a seat with the New Republic’s Senate, their concerns are largely ignored by the majority of the New Republic, who struggle to view the troublesome Mandalorian Clans and the New Mandalorians as truly separate groups. The Deathwatch and Clan VizslaOriginally known as Clan Vizla in the days of the Old Republic, Clan Vizsla gained notoriety as the Deathwatch for their brutality. While much of the Death Watch eventually joined the Mandalorian Protectors and eventually fought heavily to free Mandalore from Galactic Empire control, they would retain their identity once the war had ended. They would go on to fight with the other clans, most of their efforts against defeating the New Mandalorians. With the recognition of the name however, and their effectiveness as fighters, the True Sith Emperor Merilen hires Clan Vizsla, making them an offer they cannot refuse. The Death Watch is reinstated, but this time as a mercenary group under the command of the Sith Empire. Clan Vizsla’s battle techniques are incorporated into the training of the Sith Army, with several members of the Clan going on to serve as officers and trusted soldiers. Clan Saxon and the Imperial Super CommandosWhile many clans fought for dominance on Mandalore, Clan Saxon and the Imperial Super Commandos never returned to their home planet. While Viceroy Saxon and his Star Destroyer had been destroyed in 1 BBY, many of the Mandalorians, enslaved by the Galactic Empire, viewed Clan Saxon as traitors to the Mandalorian people. Having fought against other Mandalorians in service of the Empire, Clan Saxon remained with the Galactic Empire, even after their defeat at the battle of Jakku. With the effectiveness of special forces units such as Inferno Squad, the Imperial Super Commandos became more widely utilized by the Imperial Remnant, and the Super Commandos began to serve as one of the Imperial Remnant’s choice in special forces, and received additional training from Protectorate Gleb until her defection to work with the First Order. Clan Saxon continues to serve under the Imperial Remnant, spearheading the special forces division of the Imperial Remnant’s military. Clan SkirataHaving first served under the Republic as instructors, then as soldiers in the army, Clan Skirata turned to the Mandalorian Protectors after the rise of the Galactic Empire to fight for their home. With the defeat of the Empire however, Clan Skirata found itself without a battle to fight. Initially serving to protect the New Mandalorians that had been exiled to Concordia during the civil war on Mandalore, Clan Skirata found renewed purpose. With the New Republic reinstating the production of Clone Soldiers on Kamino, Clan Skirata was contacted, and quickly agreed to serve as instructors once more for the program. With many of them having initially been clones themselves, Clan Skirata easily re-incorporated into the Grand Army of the New Republic, with some of them donning the armor once more to fight alongside their brothers. Clan FettWith their history of mercenary and bounty hunter work, and the death of their leader in the Sarlacc, Clan Fett found itself without guidance. Many continued on with their initial work, though with the collapse of Jabba the Hutt’s criminal empire, they found themselves at odds on more than one occasion. Recognizing the strength of the Mandalorian Mercenaries that his predecessor had made use of, Nasrii the Hutt hired the Clan to work for him. Now, Clan Fett carries out the orders of the Trade Federation and it’s leaders, serving as mercenaries or bounty hunters together wherever they are needed. Other ClansWhile there are plenty of Mandalorian Clans, most have answered the call of Mand’alor the Resurgent. Followers of the Mandalorian culture can still be found on nearly every planet, working as mercenaries, bodyguards, hired muscle, and bounty hunters. Many more have returned to Mandalore however, joining with the army amassing there.

The Eternal Fleet The tale of the Eternal Fleet is a long one, spanning millennia back to the era of the Old Republic. With the death of Tenebrae, the Eternal Empire fell into chaos, with the Outlander taking control of the Eternal Throne, and eventually creating the Eternal Alliance. This too, and the fleet itself, was destroyed during the fight against the hijacked Gravestone, as the fleet was annihilated by its former flagship's Omnicannon. This was not to be the end of the Eternal Empire, for as Tenebrae had perished before, so too had he planned for the eventuality again. With the most loyal of his followers Tenebrae prophesied his own eventual demise. Upon the death of his current host, known to most as Valkorion, his prophets began to set in motion the plans for his eventual return. Continuing to serve under Arcann during his campaign over the Old Republic and Sith Empires, the prophets found the device which Tenebrae had ordered them to reclaim - The Infinite Engine. Having originally been obtained by the Imperial Reclamation Service, the Prophets of Tenebrae recovered the Infinite Engine, and with the destruction of the Eternal Fleet by the Gravestone, the prophets of Tenebrae retreated to the Tyus Cluster in hiding from the galaxy. What Tenebrae did not anticipate however is how weak his defeat in the mind of the Outlander would make him, and how long it would take for the galaxy to see another war bloody enough to return his strength. And so the prophets continued their mission without guidance while Tenebrae's essence hibernated. Feeding their dead to the Infinite Engine, over the passing millennia the Infinite Engine would eventually grow into the source from it was born - A Star Forge. With the Star Forge at their disposal, the Eternal Empire began the reconstruction of the Eternal Fleet. Meanwhile, The Dark Prophets of Tenebrae returned to the rest of the galaxy to search for the return of their master, however without any galactic wars to fuel his return, the search of the dark prophets was lost over time, instead leading to schemes that would eventually create the reborn Sith Empire. It was not until the return of Tenebrae as the Supreme Prophet Merilen of the Sith Empire that the rebuilt Eternal Empire returned to the service of their master, bringing with them the Eternal Fleet and the Star Forge, incorporating themselves into the Sith Empire, with the Eternal Fleet serving directly under the control of Sith Emperor Merilen, who controls the fleet from aboard the Star Forge and uses the majority of its power as the Star Forges defensive fleet to ensure none can hope to challenge him. While the Eternal Fleet and those brought with them praise Sith Emperor Merilen as Tenebrae returned, they are largely seen as fanatics by the rest of the Sith Empire for their beliefs. This has created friction between the Eternal Empire and the Sith Empire, as while both serve the Sith Emperor, they view one another as lesser, and squabbling is often seen between the two groups as who is superior, with Sith Lords from either faction battling against one another for power. Sith Emperor Merilen of course encourages this behavior, believing strongly that the strongest will rise, and the weak will fall.

The Trade Federation Where the other galactic powers function on politics and the rule of law, the only governing aspect of the Trade Federation is profit. With Darth Vader's execution of the Federation leaders and it's nationalization by the Galactic Empire, the Trade Federation fell from power in addition to being vilified by the galaxy at large. Although their accounts were plundered, their battle droids outlawed, and the company all but ruined, this was not be their end. Like other companies, the Trade Federation avoided the ban by first reclassifying it's developments as security droids. Their research focused heavily on improving the droids abilities, determining the flaws that had led to their ineffectiveness against the clone troopers. It was not until well after the fall of the Empire that the Trade Federation would find itself out from the rule of government once more. With the rise of the New Republic, the trade Federation continued it's developments for years, continuing to develop it's technology. With the New Republic's opposition by the First Order, the construction and refurbishing of the Federation's old droid factories began. Hoping to create an army for the Republic to use and catapult itself into a massive profit margin, their attempts to sell the idea to the senate were met by ridicule. Without a buyer, the future of the Trade Federation looked bleak. Fortunately for the Trade federation, they soon found themselves able to charge exorbitant fees to criminal organizations through the use of shell companies in the corporate sector. Relocating to the southern galactic rim outside of New Republic control, the Trade federation began selling to anyone that would buy, and criminal groups like the Hutts, Zann Consortium, and Black Suns were all too happy to fund them for droids of their own. Soon, the Trade Federation began to use their growing droid armies to extort money and supplies from the planets they'd produced the factories on, largely subjugating the entirety of the southern rim. Those who submitted were met with lavish gifts, their leaders elevated with the Trade Federation's newfound wealth. Those who refused however were met with force, as the Trade Federation put droid armies in place upon the planets. with billions of droid units under their command, and a fleet to go with it, the Trade Federation continued it's expanse, and was largely ignored by the New Republic until it began attempting to extort the nearby planets under New Republic government, such as Naboo and Malastare. Now, the New Republic and Trade Federation rest of the bring of open war, as the greedy Trade Federation looks for more solutions to grow their economic privilege.

The Sith Empire Getting their start from the Dark Prophets, whose original goal had been forgotten, the Sith Empire has slowly regained its strength since their ancient defeat in the age of the Old Republic. As Galactic Civil War began across the galaxy, the Dark Prophets hatched a new scheme to return the Sith to power, and began converting the population of the Dromund Kaas and the Imperial Forces stationed their to their control. Careful to keep their rise a secret from the rest of the Galaxy. As the war came to a close, the bloodshed caused by the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, and the loss of life caused by the Death Star is finally sufficient to awaken the slumbering essence of Tenebrae. The essence finds its way into a young sith apprentice, and with so much power, the young Sith known as Merilen quickly rises in power. Meanwhile, recognizing the peace that is soon to settle over the galaxy, the Supreme Prophet of the Sith, Snoke, puts new plans into action. Departing the secret Sith Enclave on Dromund Kaas, the so-called Supreme Leader Snoke influences the more fanatical military forces of the Imperial Remnant, leading the newly formed First Order into contest with the New Republic. Taking advantage of the vacancy, and now considered a Dark Prophet himself, the power of Merilen continues to grow, and soon he takes the leading title of the Supreme Prophet for himself. Within the coming years, Merilen names himself as the True Sith Emperor as Tenebrae's essence is fully awoken within. With his knowledge returned to him, Sith Emperor Merilen sends word to the Eternal Empire to return to him from their hidden location in the Tyus Cluster, and begins to conquer some of the Sith Empires old territory. Sith Emperor Merilen begins to reorganize the Dark prophets into a Sith Council, and reclaim the planet of Korriban, with Merilen beginning the training of new Sith apprentices en masse. He further begins the training of an army for the Sith. His decision to ignore the fleet needed to field such forces is ridiculed, though none dare oppose his power openly. As the Eternal Fleet arrives at Dromund Kaas, they bring with them the Star Forge, and any questions of Merilin's sanity are mostly dismissed. The Sith Emperor orders the use of the Star Forge to create a new fleet for the Sith Empire, at a rate unheard of in the present age. The internal factories of the Star Forge are additionally utilized to create the gear and armor needed for the Sith Army, and with his army growing, the Sith Emperor begins plotting his invasion of the Galaxy. With their old territory reclaimed, the Sith Empire focuses it's sight further on surrounding systems, their engine of war slowly creeping towards Yavin. The Sith Emperor keeps the Eternal Fleet at Dromund Kaas in protection of the Star Forge to ensure complete control, instead sending single ships with each of the Sith Empires armadas so he can observe their progress directly. As the years pass, the Sith Empire completes the preparation of its army with the resources acquired from the conquered worlds, and the training of enough Sith Lords to command their armies finally finished, Merilen orders the invasion to begin, with the majority of the Sith fleet spearheading the assault directly towards the border planet of Yavin.

The First Order WARNING! Content Approaching - Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker By the time of 49 ABY in the Nexus canon, it is assumed that the events of Episode IX will have occurred in an official capacity, with regard to the historical and canonical state of groups in Star Wars. With that in mind, it is unlikely that the First Order would be completely wiped out, and as such would retreat to the unknown regions as the remains of the Galactic Empire did after the battle of Jakku. Regardless of what occurs in Episode IX, by 49 ABY it is assumed that Kylo Ren's role in the First Order will have ended. By this point, the First Order will be controlled by surviving Knights of Ren (whether the movie addresses them and their fate or not.) Should they canonically all die in the course of Episode IX, it will be treated as though there were additional Knights of Ren who were not present, or a second generation that took over in the power vacuum. In addition to this, any technology, vehicles, ships, force powers, etc. etc. will be treated as existing as well. The ships listed in the fleet details below are intended to be placeholders for use until a finalized list can be introduced with the additional details received after the release of Episode IX. Finally, their presence and operation is primarily that of an antagonist to the Resistance, and as an escalating force of border friction between the Imperial Remnant and New Republic. In the unlikely event that Episode IX somehow integrates the First Order peacefully into the New Republic, or otherwise makes them a peace driven force, such a development will largely, if not entirely, be ignored for the purpose of Nexus canon.

The Resistance WARNING! Content Approaching - Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker By the time of 49 ABY in the Nexus canon, it is assumed that the events of Episode IX will have occurred in an official capacity, with regard to the historical and canonical state of groups in Star Wars. In this regard, it is uncertain what will become of the Resistance, and in what way things will change for them. Regardless of their fate in the movie, it is assumed that the group will continue to exist in some fashion. In Nexus canon, the Resistance will continue to serve as a protagonist in contrast to the First Order, and continue to fight against them while being privately funded by like-minded senators and the Mon Calamari, who wish to see more immediate results. By this point, it is also assumed that any of the major players of the Resistance that survive the film - Leia, Rey, Poe, Finn, etc. - will have moved on, retired, or otherwise perished by 49 ABY. In addition to this, any technology, vehicles, ships, force powers, etc. etc. will be treated as existing as well. The ships listed in the fleet details below are intended to be placeholders for use until a finalized list can be introduced with the additional details received after the release of Episode IX. Furthermore, due to the nature of the Resistance, should a new type of Force group be introduced in Episode IX (this statement included based on conjecture from 'The Last Jedi' and 'The Rise of Skywalker' titles), the Resistance will continue to operate as a guerrilla force. Any group of this major will be added outside of existing groups, as the Resistance is not intended to function in such a manner.

The New Republic As Emperor Palpatine was defeated at the Battle of Endor, the Alliance to Restore the Republic had completed its goal. Reorganizing into the New Republic, the newly formed government through off the shackles of the Galactic Empire's imperial rule, bringing with it the democracy and Galactic Senate as used before the Empire's rise. In time, the New Republic would defeat the remnants of the Galactic Empire at the Battle of Jakku, signing a peace treaty with them that would last for decades to come. In time, the New Republic would adapt a rotating seat of power, rather then utilize the galactic hub of Coruscant. Without any assaults by the Imperial Remnant, and no true enemies to fight, the Military Disarmament Act was passed as well. The armies of the New Republic were stripped away, leaving only defensive and security forces, a stance that would nearly be their undoing. With the succesor states of the Imperial Remnant vying for control, one military junta would rise to power in part of he Unknown Regions. While some saw the First Order as a significant threat, the inaction of the New Republic led to the near annihilation of the fledgling government as nearly every senator was killed at the Hosnian Cataclysm. Many worlds capitulated to the First Order outright from fear. With the New Republic nearly destroyed, the Resistance vowed it would rise again, and in time fulfilled on their promise. Having destroyed their super weapon, the Supreme Leader of the First Order defeated, the war eventually led to the defeat of the military junta, forcing it in a retreat back into the Unknown Regions where the lack of known hyperlanes prevented the Resistance from finishing them once and for all. Regardless, their vow was completed, and with the other Imperial Successor states still vying for control amongst themselves the new Republic was free to rebuild itself. The New Galactic Senate was reformed, with the few surviving senators returning to serve while most systems required new Senators to fill the roles of those who had perished in the Hosnian Cataclysm. With the first the Death Star, and now the Star Killer weapon having shown the vulnerability of a planet, the capital was relocated to the Coruscant once more. As the galactic hub of the galaxy, Coruscant was rightfully believed to be too valuable for any group to simply destroy. The next problem to be addressed in the first year was the need for defenses, and while a few senators shared the views of their predecessors, the power of the Galactic Empire and the First Order had convinced many of the newer senators of the need for a strong Galactic Presence and military force. With an overwhelming majority vote, the New Republic elected to create a standing army, and so the decisions to create the Grand Army of the New Republic were made. While this decision both frightened and angered the outlying, neutral nations of the galaxy, the New Republic made no concessions in their desire to ensure that such destruction never befell them again. While many options were brought forth for the production of an army, such as standardizing the Resistance, a droid army proposed by the resurgent Trade Federation, and a restructuring of the system used by the Galactic Empire, the final decision would land on a return to the tactics and style that the Republic had used when peace and democracy was the focus. First, the Kuat Drive-yards were commissioned both to improve upon and develop new starships in the design of those used by the Republic. Second, the ban on cloning technology was lifted, and Kamino was tasked with building a new Clone Army with modifications to the inhibitor chips to prevent the repeat of a single individual causing a purge like order 66. Lastly, while some still harbored fear over the Jedi after the propaganda campaign spread by the Empire, the heroism of Luke Skywalker and Rey was enough to sway the Senate to send out a call to any surviving Jedi, to produce a new militarized Jedi Order to lead the Grand Army of the New Republic. In the years to come, without any immediate threats, the Grand Army of the New Republic would rise and develop, with the Kaminoans perfecting the creation of the clones and the first Jedi completing their training. Now, the rearmed and militarized New Republic stands ready to defend itself against threats unknown.

The Imperial Remnant WARNING! Content Approaching - Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker Content Approaching - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order By the time of 49 ABY in the Nexus canon, it is assumed that the events of Episode IX will have occurred in an official capacity, with regard to the historical and canonical state of groups in Star Wars. While initially forced to abide by the Galactic Concordance initially, the splintering of the Imperial Remnant into the First Order is not treated as being the end all to Imperial Remnant. In Nexus canon, it is assumed that the independent regimes of the Imperial Remnant continue to exist, and that while some of the military leaders of the fallen Galactic Empire joined with the First Order, not all of them did. The First Order is merely one of the Imperial successor states to arise, and by 49 ABY, the rest are treated as having fallen under the control of Warlord Vark. The Military Disarmament Act that occurred was also shown not to have influenced the actions of the First Order, and therefore would not have influenced these Imperial successor states either. Most importantly, at the time of writing, it is believed that Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine will make some kind of appearance in Episode IX. If he returns in any capacity, by the events of 49 ABY, it is assumed that any major effect he causes the galaxy in this regard, if it is not dealt with in the movie itself, will be indirect, and that he will no longer be directly present regardless of what occurs. Furthermore, the Imperial Remnant is still to be treated as very xenophobic. While allied with the Chiss Asencdancy and allowing other Chiss into their ranks, this is largely due to the influence of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who canonically is said to have been essential in the Remnant's escape into the Unknown Regions after the Battle of Jakku. This does not replace or remove the Chiss Ascendancy from Nexus canon either, but simply opens the door for other Chiss to be seen along with the humans that make up Imperial Remnant leaders and admirals. Finally, the information here, such as the ships listed under the Fleet description, are placeholders. In the event of important changes or technology that may be introduced in Episode IX, any technology, vehicles, ships, force powers, etc. etc. will be treated as existing as well. At such time as the movie is released, should any important information be revealed about the Imperial Remnant or their technology, these lists will be updated.

So, as promised, I have the alpha version of the discord server up. It's pretty basic at the moment, as I don't have any bots present, nor do I have all the roles completed, but the basic outline is present, and I have the rules in place. Before joining, I'd also like to point out that I updated the 'chat rules' into the new Discord Rules and that you should have a look at those before joining. Once that's out of the way, here's a link to the server. NexusRoleplay DiscordThat link shouldn't ever expire, so expect to see me put that up a few other places in the future once we reach that point. Beyond that, there's not much more in the way of updates. I've begun working on the new logo for the nexus, but I don't have anything to show off just yet, so that's all for now! Update: Well, after posting this up I realize that the links don't show up 'properly' as in they still look white, aren't underlined, or are in any way distinguishable from other text at the moment, so gonna have to figure that out on the forum too. Update 2: Tried using the BBC Code to add a color to it, and that didn't work either. The underline works at least. Adding that on to the to-do-list

Welcome Shea! Surprised to see a new face around here! That depends on how you define 'Bad Time'. Relatively speaking, this is a great time, as hopefully the forum will be up and running again before too long. If you were hoping to jump into something immediately unfortunately, then yes it would be a bad time. Nexus is currently. . . 'Under Renovation' at the moment if you will. So nothing is really running at the moment. That being said, you're welcome to start familiarizing yourself with the lore we have here. Our Fallout RP takes place post Fallout 4, and our Elder Scrolls post Skyrim at the moment. You can find Fallout Guides here. And Elder Scrolls guides here.As far as I'm aware, Fallout 76 and ESO haven't changed anything much regarding our current lore. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask, just be aware that it may take time to get a proper response since most of the staff is on hiatus right now.

I probably shouldn't have waited on doing the previous news until I had some updates to bring, just to show we're keeping up with things, but whatever.
So, I've essentially given up on figuring out GIMP, since all of the functionalities come as third party things. This is largely because I had difficulty figuring out tutorials that not only list those plugins but then show how to use them. At least in comparison to CS5. Good news is, I've got CS5 now, so after I take care of a few things this week it shouldn't be too long before design is flowing properly.
More good news is that Zen has had some time to code, and if you haven't already noticed, he's starting to get things we needed implemented as we work towards finishing the layout. Each of the categories can now be minimized to collapse the category, just like we used to have, and it seems like it saves what you last had collapsed/expanded. He's also in the process of figuring out things for the sidebars, which you can also see on the right and left. These can also be expanded/collapsed, and on the left we're probably going to put a section with a welcome message, Quick Links, and maybe the usual disclaimer.
Haven't decided yet, but either on the right or at the bottom of the forum, we're going to put the discord general channel once I have it up and running. We discovered it's possible to insert one of those on to a page just like with a cbox, shoutbox, etc.. I'll have a version of the discord server up and running by this point next week, that way people can join as they slowly filter back in. Which by the way, glad to see everyone is slowly!
That's all for this week, so stay tuned for more!

A day late a dollar short again, but here nonetheless. For anyone keeping track, I updated the forum text and size, so you're not seeing the blocky nonsense it was before. Making things a bit easier on the eyes.
In reference to the lack of photo-shop aspect I have for working on site design, I've went ahead and downloaded GIMP so I have something to use. Obviously without CS5 I'm gonna have a learning curve to making it work the way I want, but I'll figure out the design and make a custom logo eventually.
On a positive note, I've officially enlisted Zen for help. I've upgraded him to admin so he can mess with the code, and the current things we've talked about really needing for the site are the 'category tabulate' we used to have so you can collapse and expand the categories you want to see (because even with the cuts this forum still extends into forever), sideboxes where we can put important info such as a welcome to the site and another for important links to the rules and info for each section so people can get started easily, and a way for me to insert the logo I eventually make up top where it says 'the Nexus' currently. He's still busy, so for anyone lurking around and paying attention, don't expect anything soon. There's no timeline on this and I've essentially told him to only work on it if he has the downtime for it at work. How long it takes to get up is largely how difficult it is to insert the plugins or navigate the proboards aspects, so there's no guarantee anything happens soon.
With that being said, once we get to that aspect where he's handled the code side, it'll free me up to work on the design side. Once we make some headway with that and we have something to show for it, I'll be making a discord so that we can actually communicate more efficiently in a concise location, and be contacting Dawg to just reevaluate all of the lore we currently have for the different sections, discuss if any further changes on said sections will be made, and to make sure all of the guides and everything are in order.
That's all for this week, stay tuned.
